I'm well aware of the different set of connector config, unfortunately I've tried TRRRS, TRRS, TRS and none worked.
I also did tried with both wiring standard, OMTP and CTIA, but to no avail. Still buzzing.
I also compared the length of the connector just incase if this STB is using the 15mm connector type, but it all has the same length with the original connector.

Last hint is using TS connector.
I'm yet to try with TS connector as speaker with this type of connector is quite rare nowadays.
Anyone have speaker with TS connector can lend me their speaker for awhile?

Get a USB RF mouse or you can get a USB mini keyboard with mouse pad function. Is pretty cheap.

as for the Es explorer pro. yup! the selection bar highlight is very dim. It will be easier to used with a mouse.

Agreed on that. The best is to navigate using an external mouse, much easier that using the supplied remote control but the cons is you have to sit real near the TV.   Does a wireless mouse work as well? Anyone tried?

not necessary. you are facing that problem because the USB port is located on the back and left side which the signal strength greatly reduce. Get a male to female USB cable extender. I'm using a 4 ports USB switch and let the USB ports placing front.

My sofa is about 16ft away. Seating on my sofa I have no problem using the mini keyboard. 

Means you are using a wired mouse and wired keyboard to your male to female cable extender? But wouldnt that be a lot of cables running around then?

Yes! wireless. less cable. in fact only one cable extended to one of the STB USB port. I have another external hard drive plug into the other USB port at the STB.

My STB are inside a cabinet. So only can see the extended 4port USB swtich that is facing front but than is behind the cabinet glass door.

I was following the thread for 2 days and i read almost 70 pages.
I have question now and i hope u can help me. I can not find a way to change the input language its by default English i want to add Arabic language.

Can u help me I also want to add Arabic channels IPTV. If any of u recommend any app free or paid.

Check the Android settings for language selection.. If Arabic is on the list. Else, no idea how to help..
Doubt you'd find much about this here.. Most are English/Chinese/Korean content... Google.

Any good photo viewer and movie player to recommend? Currently using:
