Yup, for the time being Harp Artist's proposal definately has higher chance of success than u-turn before toll, we also don't want to disturb Twin Palms resident too much..

Hopefully SILK not greedy and asking double payment if they provide such U-turn in future..

They have nothing to lose as those use Twin Palms tunnel only need to pay one way fee all this while. Of course, we need influential politician to exert pressure on Silk.

Yeah, because I think SILK know that's not convenient (a lot of bumps, turning etc, as being claimed by other forummer).. That's why if the twin palm route can be used, why SILK still need to do extra?

As a matter of fact, I presume twin palm has "paid" quite substantial amount to have such tunnel. SILK won't simply allow peoply bypass the toll, they may "request something" if really they allow such U-turn.

Yup in Malaysia, advice from an influential figure is more powerful than all facts and figures, I believe u-turn at Silk Kajang toll is under advice by some influential people.

Anyway, no much extra work required by Silk just some barriers but the increase of cars using the toll will be much more than the cost incurred.

Of course no one want to use the twin palms way, it freaking wastes time and petrol

I think once the access road from Bukit Sungai Long opens to SILK highway it will help to ease the traffic jam in Sg Long. Instead of jamming on the main Sg Long Road every morning, we will see that the road will eases a little bit with some traffic heading towards Persiaran SG Long 2 before ended up on SILK highway. If cars are heading towards Semenyih, then it will be great! They dont have to stuck in the jam anymore!

What about people who wants to go, say for example AEON Cheras Selatan?

It will be even better if a U-turn is made available before the SILK Sg Long toll, near twin palms.

That SILK Sg Long is wide enough to make U-Turn activities not a dangerous one.

Safety is only an excuse by LLM, they want to protect the interest of highway operator, by allowing u-turn before toll will affect the bottom line of Silk.
