They should allow U-turning at the Sungai Long toll so that people from Sungai long and BMC dont have to pay RM1.

Regarding the new route to access to SILK Highway from Bukit Sg Long (BSL), is it one way or two ways?

One way, meaning from BSL to Silk Highway heading towards Twin Palms and future Sutera Pines.

Or Two ways, meaning apart from the abovementioned one way access, it also includes the access to SILK highway heading towards AEON Cheras Balakong?

It is still cumbersome for the Sungai Long and BMC residence to go AEON using the SILK highway. A U-Turn near the toll will solve the issues. Sigh.

Yeah, I agree. It should be a simple u-turn just before the Sg Long toll just like a simple U-turn made available in front of the Mewah 9 Residence at Bukit Kajang SILK toll.

How come SILK allows this to happen at the Bukit Kajang SILK Toll and not at SG Long SILK toll?

I think once the access road from Bukit Sungai Long opens to SILK highway it will help to ease the traffic jam in Sg Long. Instead of jamming on the main Sg Long Road every morning, we will see that the road will eases a little bit with some traffic heading towards Persiaran SG Long 2 before ended up on SILK highway. If cars are heading towards Semenyih, then it will be great! They dont have to stuck in the jam anymore!

What about people who wants to go, say for example AEON Cheras Selatan?

It will be even better if a U-turn is made available before the SILK Sg Long toll, near twin palms.

That SILK Sg Long is wide enough to make U-Turn activities not a dangerous one.

No leh. If you read their financial report on their website at http://www.silk.my/AnnualReport/SilkHoldings2014.pdf , especially on page 36, it clearly shows that their profit for the year 2014 after minus income tax expense is RM 41,212,000. In 2013, they made a profit of 35,245,000.

I just found out that SILK Holdings BHD disposed 100% equity of the SILK highway to IJM.

Thanks for the details Palmwalker001! Yeah in the near future the revenue will definitely increase! Once Ecohill Link opens I am sure there revenue will increase further. It's a blessing in disguise for SILK Holdings Bhd when their deals with IHM falls out.

I think the initial intention to build the Twin palm tunnel is meant for Twin Palmians usage, but eventually it is open to everyone to use for U-turn purposes. So everyone needs to pay RM1 to use the tunnel to U-turn to SILK highway.

By the way is there a reason why this place is called Sungai Long?
