Yeah, I agree. It should be a simple u-turn just before the Sg Long toll just like a simple U-turn made available in front of the Mewah 9 Residence at Bukit Kajang SILK toll.

How come SILK allows this to happen at the Bukit Kajang SILK Toll and not at SG Long SILK toll?

Everyone also hope to get the shortest route to the entry of highway, if possible just beside the house during the morning rush period, but that not always the case... If I put myself in SILK's shoes, when someone ask them to make a U-turn there, sure they will claim there is already one in twin-palm.. Of course, if someone willing to pay all the construction cost and set up a tool booth free for SILK, then it is possible for SILK to allow so.. Don't forget SILK still need to fork out maintenance and labour cost for maintenance as well.

If really so, the toll booth should be at the entry point and not on SILK since it will burden other SILK users as well.

I presume some agreements already in place before the SILK is constructed. To have such U-turn near mewah residence is definitely a no no for SILK.. There is one military research institute call STRIDE behind the mewah residence..

boss i think ur missing the point. the uturn will make more biz for silk as shorter route, more ppl will be inclined to uturn. there is no construction cost needed for simple uturn except to take off the barrier and a few traffic cones. and i dont mean goodview heights, i dont call that uturn either, more of a figure 8 turn lol

Went to Bukit Sungai Long link site yesterday, saw the land next to BSL 1 also cleared wonder how the link will look like, seem quite close to the houses.

Bro, there is safety concern if they just allow a U-turn in such a way in the middle of highway.. I doubt LLM will approve it. U-turn in Mewah Residence workable since the U-turn is just infront of the toll booth and that area is wide enough to accommodate such U-turn.

What I mean is goodview height also would need such U-turn as well. They also need a U-turn before reaching the Lekas-SILK Semenyih interchange (U turn or 8 turn or whatever you call it). Then along this portion, how many U-turn should be built?

In addition, if they allow such U-turn by simply taking off the barrier, where should be the toll both located? If put along the SILK highway, then it will not fair for other users who doens't doesn't use this u-turn..

furthest right lane = uturn to balakong. toll on one side only. both silk and users happy.

boss, are u a sg long resident? do u know the twin palm exit... to uturn wastes at least 5 min on that long road with so many bumps and turns.

which is good for silk as they all pay rm1 right? and still will be more convenient than pusing pusing in twin palms (btw that tunnel frequently flood at heavy rain). and takes some cars off the main road from sg long to saga.

Good idea, if one lane jam make it two lane loh. It is win-win situation for both Silk & residents.

2 lane best la but need bigger space as inside lane must hv enough turning radius. but that toll empty anyway. anyone want to volunteer to tell silk all this? hahaha
