We have forumner KC Chan, his boss is arranging signature campaign to open u-turn in front of toll which is detriment to Silk's revenue and most probably not allowed by LLM. This can be plan B if the petition fail.

boss, I presume it's hard for SILK to make justification for putting in money to operate another booth for such U-turn as there is already one available just next to it (though can save 5 minutes in this context).

uturn without toll sure cannot la boss... unless got some kind developer like kihuat willing to fork out a big chunk of their profit..

Rather than operating a new toll booth for U-turn, I think it's much better if there is a small roundabout to be put straight after the tunnel to connect back to the Silk highway directly..

This is even more cost feasible I presume..

Now this portion of SILK perhaps still under-use, but there are a lot of developments in vicinity, as a matter of fact, I presume in future many people from Semenyih will use this portion of road as well..

I think u-turn after toll with one way fee is a doable project compare with forcing Silk to allow u-turn before toll.

If use existing booth, means the U-turn is after the Twin Palm toll.

In addition, to go into the booth, it can take one lane, but when car makes U-turn, you need to spare a space at least 2 lanes..

SILK may need to expand the toll booth or going further down for such U-turn..

boss any idea what price kh going to launch? 3 storey semid right? anyway happy that im not going to need to go thru the sg long jam when going home in a few mths... or when going out to work in the mornings as i go putrajaya direction. hopefully become a little more liveable after that as now i really feel the pain of being too far from kl/pj.

ya.. if uncontrolled uturn will end up like the besraya...the one from salak to oug. super dangerous with all the lane change and slowdown on what looks like a fast lane.

Gosh.... expecially those 10 - 12 wheels one..

May be can build something like u-turn at Jalan Besar Seri Kembangan to prevent it happen.

U mean the U-turn near to BHP?

This is just an example, I hope the politician especially DAP be more pragmatic, asking Silk to allow u-turn before toll is unrealistic but allow u-turn after toll with one way fee is more acceptable for both Silk and residents.

Hopefully it will be realiazed one day..

Personally I think it will be hard for SILK to make such justification since the twin palm tunnel which just next to it can serve the same purpose. Anyway, let see how it goes..

when Twin Palm residents complain high traffic and affecting their life then only see how it goes

I think currently still not many Sungai Long resident using the twin palm U-turn.. Let see how it goes after Bukit Sungai Long exit open..
