few years ago, the federal gov had warned the state gov about the possibility of water drought problem in 2014...

but at that time they said there will be no problem...and refused to approve the langat 2 loji....until last year water crisis happend, khalid awared  BIG PROBLEM is coming...and eventually signed the agreement with the federal gov.

this had caused the internal problem within the state gov which lead to khalid have to step down... sweat.gif
this is a very long story, you can search from the newspaper starting from 2011,2012...all evidences are out there doh.gif

The water issue is getting worst. Seems no light at the end of the tunnel yet. No news at all from the politicians.

according to syabas, the loji already overload almost 120%,
it means if the loji can provide water for let say 100 people, now it already process the water for 120 people, but the demand probably is 200 people...so its already reach to the maximum...until the new loji commence, water can come from pahang to semenyih and then process it...

this is not drought problem....the problem is demand > supply

Hi guys,

Regarding the new route to access to SILK Highway from Bukit Sg Long (BSL), is it one way or two ways?

One way, meaning from BSL to Silk Highway heading towards Twin Palms and future Sutera Pines.

Or Two ways, meaning apart from the abovementioned one way access, it also includes the access to SILK highway heading towards AEON Cheras Balakong?

Thanks biggrin.gif

The project so far approved for one way only. No turning towards Balakong direction.

Thanks for the confirmation Samkps. icon_rolleyes.gif

It is still cumbersome for the Sungai Long and BMC residence to go AEON using the SILK highway. A U-Turn near the toll will solve the issues. Sigh. doh.gif

If any party willing to pay SILK compensation and cover the project cost, then maybe still have chance.. Otherwise, currently since Twin Palm already have the U-turn available, I don't think SILK will simply accept something that will harm its profit.

a shorter simple uturn, still pay the toll, is what we should campaign for.

Then who will use the twin palm U-turn? I think one of the reasons SILK allow the opening of Bukit Sungai Long entrance/exit is to encourage more Sungai Long residents using the Twin Palm U-turn..

Understand from stall owners in Restoran Sungai Long (opposite Maybank), water supply is ok yesterday.
