so what i've quote u above shud do gud,
if u mind that xtra 100bucks,
just swap the GPU with GTX750ti around RM540 as gpu doesnt contribute much on graphic design
as per PS/Ai use it nid that 16GB ram as they r RAM consuming

Intel Core i5 4460 - RM 669
Asrock H97 Pro4 - RM 369
Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Value RAM - RM 219
Palit GTX970 4GB GDDR5 Reference - RM 1271
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 199
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 194
Thermaltake Versa H25 - RM 135

Depends on what settings you are going to play, high settings with nvidia hairworks off should be able to achieve 50-60fps.

Yup 16gb would b almost overkill for gaming,
but i just quote is for u

Intel Xeon 1231 v3 - RM 949
Asrock H97 Pro4 - RM 369
Kingston 16GB DDR3 1600MHz Value RAM - RM 438
Palit GTX970 4GB GDDR5 Reference - RM 1271
liteon 900s 240GB RM429
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 199
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 194
Thermaltake Versa H25 - RM 135

RM3984

U can consider more reliable psu like seasonic s12ii 620 RM349

If purely gaming, 8GB RAM is enough for now but no harm going to 16GB RAM if you have budget.

Intel Xeon E3 1231 V3 - RM 949
Asrock H97 Pro4 - RM 369
Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Value RAM x2 - RM 438
Palit GTX970 4GB GDDR5 Reference - RM 1271
Seasonic M12II EVO 520W - RM 319
Liteon S900 256GB SSD - RM 429
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 194
Thermaltake Versa H25 - RM 135

Total: RM 4104 (GPU is from Cycom, others are from Viewnet inclusive of GST)

Slightly overbudget with 16GB RAM, if you mind then remove the extra 8GB RAM and the rest of the money can be use to buy better case/non-reference GPU etc.

$50 = RM185.01,probably RM185 they don't want to put in the cent. biggrin.gif

I've no idea, but they should do it since NVidia said so.

If purely gaming i5 + 980 is better but that's more expensive than Xeon + 970.

3k budget with SSD is not recommended, if you insist to have an SSD then you need downgrade to GTX960 but gaming on 1440p on GTX960 is not really ideal. Alternatively, you can switch to MSI R9 290X Lightning which has real 4GB VRAM to pair with your 1440p monitor but you need a better PSU if you make this switch.
