Any updates on this rom ? did u get the bluetooth working ?

I dont think so. When i got mine , i installed the root checker software and ran it. It said no root until I used kingroot to root it.

It could be that the local dealers, rooted the phone to add their modifications and then unrooted it ?
The sifus here are welcome to comment on this ?

Same question here bro ... There are nice instructions in the first page but vague in some area for newbies like us...

What am I looking for ?

- Something stable ( i dont want to flash roms every month or so and restore apps, messages ,etc )
( marked ST ? )
- English dialogue
- All Phone functionality must work - bluetooth / wifi / camera etc must work
- OTA must have
- Gapps must have
- Root too


So if we use a ST type rom, install gapps , remove bloatware, and then unroot it , can we get OTA ?
I prefer OTA instead of flashing entire ROM every time....

I m using 1524 ST rom which u can find it on 1st page. Everything seem find for me. Rooted.
Battery friendly, camera good, BT good, wifi good etc. Thanks to sitescope for latest stable rom and method to flash it and root it.
Important.....if u rooted your phone, u can't do OTA update. Just keep this in mind for all rooted android phones.

Bro, can you comment on the 1526 Dev ROM, any drawbacks seen as such in 1524 eg. whatsapp no LED notification? This is official ROM right? Cause I noticed sitescope only included 1524 as latest..

sitescope share is Official Stable rom 1524.....and this 1526 is Develope rom. I use 1524 Develope rom b4....ok also ler. Also no notification led for Whatsapp.

A. ST would be considered an official rom right ?
Any reason u did not want to try the rom of version:
VIBEUI_V2.8_1526_7.80.1_DEV_K50-T5 ( Developer version ) – Android 5.1 ?
B. Contact no +6 issue still exists ? or solved ?
C. English available ?
D. After unrooting a rooted phone , can we get back the OTA?

A. Yes... coz DEV is for testing & ST is for stable version...
I dun wan to test coz dun have an extra hp for testing... So I prefer stable version...
B. No idea coz yet to try
C. Yes
D. No coz ur recovery still custom.

I think people are confusing on OTA / ROOT / GAPPS

For stock rom (DEV & ST)
- if u want OTA, u will not be able to install GAPPS & ROOT.
Why ? Bcoz stock ROM doesn't coming with GAPPS & ROOT. So to have it, u need to install via recovery.
But ? U're unable to install GAPSS & ROOT via stock recovery coz stock recovery didn't recognize the zip format
So ? To solve this, u need to flash custom recovery (cwm/twrp) via flashtool
Then ? Once cwm/twrp installed, then u can install GAPPS & ROOTS
OTA ? OTA can be dloaded into the hp but when u wanna install, it'll detect that u don't have stock recovery. Hence, failed to install.
Solution ? If u wanna latest ST rom, u need to dload the whole rom (8++mb) and flash via cwm/twrp. Then flash GAPPS & ROOT again. Once ur hp booted, u need to restore all ur app via Titanium Backup.

For question A i tried 1524 dev rom b4....ok also but i prefer stable rom as mention by sitescope, no time to test it.
For question B......this phone use 60 not +60...so far so good for me.

U need to use this SDcard method cause stable rom and develope rom dont have google service/google framework.

I think many question had been answer. Currently on 1524 stable rom. Phone my wife using. So don't play2 too much. Later kena lecture if any data gone.
I will try the VibeUI 2.8 aka Android 5.1 maybe in next 1-2 dev rom. Try to find discussion in lenovo CN forum, not much peoples discuss about this rom yet.

I think can... even if u don't have SD card, u also can use OTG with fat32 pendrive...
