Guys I think this Lenovo K3 Note is not coming to Malaysia already because a search in Sirim database shows that Lenovo Malaysia has register the P90 but there is no result found for K3 Note.
Since both phones release almost around the same time, it will only be logic if Lenovo Malaysia registers both phones together with Sirim around the same time.
So I guess we all stuck with AP set.

I m very happy with K3 Note AP with this price. Very nice phone. Light weight also.

Just flashed this ROM (http://www.needrom.com/download/lenovo-k3-note-aosp-5-1/).

Caller ID issue not observed.

BT cannot be turned on. Tried via settings and also with ADB. Cannot turn on at all.

Also, if Sim is in slot 2, need to reboot a few times before data connection is working. Settings for SIM card change will pop up. After that, it will auto configure itself.

In Lazada some selling RM579, some selling RM830. What's the difference?
Is it better to buy at Lowyat (can feel & touch and test) before buying?
Kindly advise, thanks.

Also for folks who already have the phone, can kindly check if Vietnamese is one of the language options provided? Cos I am buying it for a friend there. Thanks.

RM579 sold by IDSmartphone at discounted price, one of the first distributors to bring in the phone originally priced at ~RM625. The other distributors have simply jacked up the price sky high. Just do a conversion from USD to RM also won't go so high - can check out other overseas online distributors' pricing (eg. gearbest.com, to2c.com etc.)

At the present IDSmartphone selling it at the cheapest price point. I have not dealt with them before in the past but a simple search on Google/Facebook/Lelong and you can judge if they are trustworthy/legit business or not.

If you buy from Lazada you can use 10% voucher.

And to answer your question on language, yes they do support Vietnames language - http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_180346.html

This is weird.. I powered up my phone for the first time and it went straight to 'home' screen without going through the usual 'choose your language next, next next' settings.

After using it for some time, I shut down the phone, plugged in my charger (I wasn't up to anything, the sequence just happened), then rebooted it again. Once rebooted, it brings me to the 'next, next, next' settings screen. At the T&C page, I wasn't able to go next after checking the 'i agree' box and tapping 'next' doesn't do anything.

Any ideas what happened? Have not flashed or anything. There's no sim card inserted at the moment, other phone's still active.

What is the rom version on your phone now?
My advise is wipe everything and install the lastest rom.

SiteScope ... thanks for the reply.

1. When i click on the thumbnail, i get a black box ( i am logged in ). Same results when i use another browser.
Chrome and Firefox
2. Under SETTINGS, I have;;

- WIRELESS & NETWORKS
- PERSONAL
- BASCI SETTINGS
- ACCOUNTS
- SYSTEM MANAGE

I dont seem to have "PREFERENCES"

Note my build number:

VIBEUI_V2.5_1512_5.495.1_ST_K50-T5

Is that the issue? What is your build number ?

3. With this build, I have rooted the phone with KingRoot. I have Google Apps ( Playstore ) but cant seem to locate
the OTA option ?
