Just looking for a 'once and for all clarification'.

These China phones that can be bought from distributors:

1. are they usually flashed to English ROMs by the distributors? Or were they using stock China ROMs but distributors set to English language?
My set seem like English (International ROM). Not many China Bloatware

2. if they were flashed to English ROMs by distributors, will the OS be able to pull these updates from Lenovo database itself? I guess OTA is 'over the air' updates? Were there any indication that the phones had been flashed?
Not sure about this. Havent receive any OTA yet

3. If you flash to an original/official Lenovo OS on your own, will it get updates? I read that people usually flash on their own because of Chinese bloat wares.
I think U will not get OTA since your recovery is not stock from Lenovo anymore

4. I've checked that warranty is usually 3-months for parts ie. touch screen . Are there any stores that offer 1 full year warranty on parts, just like how an official Lenovo store does for its customers?
I brought from China online site. So dont think got any warranty. IF yes, also need to send all the way back to seller.

1) Wah Lau!, thailand no tax?. I am envious already.! Did they send phone in original box? or only phone & accessories in some nondescript packing that makes it look like a document rather than a parcel?

2) Good to stick with the "2511" ROM . It seems that this custom ROM is v robust. I am also looking for that ROM. I am surprised To2C.com  use it cause their promo video shows "1502/or 7"  which is flakier. 

3)  It seems "2511" ROM can take OTA updates. What is not clear is whether the  OTA updates were from LENOVO or from the reseller itself or outsourced custom ROM developer. Can confirm for us when you get your OTA update?  Tq.

how's the battery for this phone? contemplating to either buy this or honor 4x

So if I'm going to buy the AP set from store like DirectD, so I have to check out whether it can be used in Malaysia 4G this kind of thing of or not?
Because I knew certain phone like Xiaomi Mi4 has FDD and TDD variant, buy the wrong variant then no need to use 4G in Malaysia.

Not sure this phone is it all 4G band also usable.

Hi.. Mind to share how long it takes for full charging? Does it support fast charging if you use a faster charger from other brands?

Don't quite understand why Lenovo would delay its release when it can pwn Meizu M1 Note and Honor 4X for its price and specs.. coincidentally its coming out at the same time as Redmi Note 2.. coincidence? I think not.

Noticed 1 bug in aosp v3, 4g not working if auto switch from 3g.
I need go to cellular networks and select 2g for few secs, then select 4g again...

Other than that aosp is so smooth... My daily driver for 3 days now although the battery usage is not so good...
