I just use Netflix crunchyroll express VPN. Even then the lag is noticeable with lipsync issue. Trouble waking up after sleep. WiFi issue here and there. 4k Hdr 60fps but can really see the processor struggling here and there. The recently release mibox carry almost identical processing power which is sad. Was so looking forward for the upgrade.

quite sure they meant the serious judders with LIVE HD channels (not with live SD or VOD) - unwatchable - happens only with ATV devices.

in my experience, yes.

the voice/video out of sync affected all devices, ATV or regular... but is resolved now.

the judders problem was/is only with ATV, not regular android... still persisting.

whether that problem is about high end or low end ATV, it is unclear as too few users have come forward to comment.

No, it will only reset with factory reset.

Usually those legal streaming video app jitter only happens to original ATV are because original ATV have L1 cert capable to HD quality.The app will check the device Widevine certificate that encrypt the video. Those non ATV app will make the video jitter when the video quality is HD and will smooth back if video quality drop to SD quality.Same goes to Directv tablet app.

Those Android tv box will only have L3 which only can watch in SD quality if the app have checkings

above is inconsistent with the fact that the previous astrogo app version v8.2.6 (still working), a non-ATV app, worked very well on ATV, in HD.

Work well, but the quality more like sub hd which in my opinion not really HD like in iflix and netflix. With new version of aotg, their quality a little bit crispier but might not able to tell in human eye at far.

Like I mention before if the app have implement DRM checkings to prevent people pirating or illegal streaming.Astro already aware this aotg misuse issue so they implement it in the new version

In particular astro go. Reason i'm asking is cuz apparently astro taking it off LG webos after sept so finding an alternative source for watching live sports.
