Sometimes the shop name has .my to confused you but it is from overseas. There are sellers that said ship from Balakong (for example), but order is actually shipped from China. I guess from China shipped to local seller and then put into PosLaju to ship to you. If not I wonder how they assigned the PosLaju tracking number once the order leave China
I read from Shopee thread that those with .my behind are China suppliers but put MY address. Don't think they send by Poslaju though

I order from Shopee several times. Once you order you can see the status on your phone apps. Once the seller shipped out the goods from China, you will be given PosLaju tracking number immediately. I use another apps for tracking out of the Shopee tracking system.
Once the goods reached KLIA, the PosLaju tracking number is triggered already. I'm not sure how. Last time I thought local seller ship out once the goods reach them, but it can't be because KLIA. Most likely that Shoppe operates from KLIA bonding warehouse. Shopee can assign the PosLaju tracking number. Shopee can purchase a bunch of number from PosLaju before hand, just like you buy PosExpress envelop, I think.

Ah, good to know. Never bought again from overseas seller on Shopee due to a bad experience. Rather buy from Banggood previously but now they increase their shipping cost instead of free shipping.

I don't have bad experience. Look for good rating seller and see comments from customers. Many I dealt with were responsive. I just chat through Shopee as recommended. They even reply at night.
At least order from cc get MSOS confirmation. On AliExpress, straight charge even though I immediately cancel. I get refunded but lost RM2+ due to exchange rate on refund day exchange rate I guess. I found many prices in Shoppe are probably cheaper than AliExpress (maybe just by chance looking at cheaper shops). Using desktop, the price is in MYR not USD like AliExpress. So, not fluctuation due to exchange rate.
Last time I use Lazada but then move to AliExpress and now more to Shopee.

How about warranty then? Some sellers put no warranty at Shopee. Reason I buy from Banggood previously is because got warranty for 90 days or is it 180 days and I claim it before.

I did not know Banggood has that kind of warranty. Like most in from China like Lazada, AliExpress and Shopee, I think warranty is probably within 1 week after receiving just to cover in case you received faulty unit.
I look at Banggood before and price is usually cheaper but I've never dealt with them. Maybe I always get confused with IndiaMart. Bang.... sounds like Banggalore
Maybe I should start browsing Banggalore. At least I have good reference now
At Shopee, I will check the Local - West Malaysia box. That way it only display local sellers. I don’t like buy from these small overseas shop as I sked they send me the wrong thing. Their description is mostly inaccurate and their product knowledge zero
I bought most of my home automation stuff from gearbest but now they are too expensive to buy from. Never try Banggood before as their price is high as well.
Now I just buy from local Shopee sellers as the price is getting better and I get it much faster.
Warranty wise I think none are good. I claimed a few times from gearbest. The item is not completely rosak but they will compensate you some money and you don’t have to send the item back to them
One thing I noticed, for big ticket items, buy from local sellers is cheaper. Small ticket items - overseas sellers cheaper

Hi, Done set up my Xiaomi gateway. More questions:- 1. Anyone try to link the gateway (window sensor/ motion sensor) and Dafang CCTV (detection) to Xiaomi Mi Band 3 (when there is any motion detected), the mi band will be vibrate... my phone is a Vivo. I had set my Mi Fit app to push message of Mi Home, but, I dont receive any notification.
2. Xiaomi Gateway, how many mode it? 1. Alert? 2. Guard? 3. Off-guard? Can share how you guys do it, would like to change it the door sensor as my alarm, and motion sensor to detect and start recording, playing the police car siren with red light.
3. I am using a Toshiba Smart TV, how to link Dafang CCTV playback to the TV? as my TV also can be controlled with the Mi Universal remote controller...

please advise. thanks
1. Isn't it suppose Mi Home app push the notifications to your phone and pick up by Mi Band? 2. Check the video below and your app settings
3. I think need to hack your cam with SD card and display video through browser either from PC or Raspberry Pi connected to TV Remote controller just emit IR code to control device only. Can't output video to TV mia.

It kind of an arranggement between shoppe and the seller. It same either local or oversea. They got pre arranggment pos laju number. Pos laju is a service provider. Seller just print the standard pos laju page with assign number and they just drop at pos laju. Kind of link system already. For oversea, they will to the appointed service same as pos laju prior to be send to malaysia, that why it is very efficient. Im already try to buy from various seller from local and oversea, so far so food but i think oversea seller give a good price.

wow my plan is to by one aqara switch with neutral to test it out first with the AC switch, if it works then only i will buy more...
qns on aqara wireless switch, if i have an aqara wall switch in my master bedroom and i setup the wall switch (in master bedroom as well) connected to the wireless switch with a gateway, can i switch off/ remove the gateway and the wireless switch can still control the wall switch? thinking how to avoid buying additional gateway.

Both cannot work without the gateway. Why want to buy additional gateway? Your place too big? Buy Zigbee repeater
