btw im just curious, from its description(its actually copied from another models IR repeater), it says it can link up to 3 different devices
does this means max i could control 3 devices only in my bedroom?

have to buy direct from usa for the smart tint i guess

china has one cheaper version, my fren and me were looking into this product sometime ago

Well it's not exactly like harmony when you have to setup specific numbers of devices that you need to control
From what I understand it should transmit any ir signal it receives
For me, I'd probably add broadlink rm mini for since it's a cheaper option

it should be a tint. the cable is hidden. so theoretically this should be cheaper then replacing a whole glass.

there are two types la
one is a film like tint film. end users can install this on their own
the other one must be sandwich between two pieces of glass like laminated glass
this one must be done at their factory

anyway, this thing is good for privacy but it doesnt totally black out the Sun. It will be like frosted glass, and our strong sunlight can still get through.
I feel its not really suitable for our climate unless you dont get any direct sunlight

The link provided by you says is float glass. Which can be self install?
Sandwhich tint film should be the one pointed out by Kiding, right?

If you look at the spec in the link carefully, then you will not think it is a glass.
