QUOTE(Kiding @ Jan 23 2017, 11:32 PM) The broadlink TC RF wall plate doesn't require neutral line, just a live wire is good enough. How many did you get and how long have they been working so far?[attachmentid=8432667] I have managed to integrate the broadlink RM Pro and RM Mini 3 to Alexa, the RM tasker app running on Android has feature to bridge Alexa and Broadlink eControl app, now I can use Alexa to voice control all broadlink devices Also, how long is the command line? Does it sound like 'Alexa, tell broadlink switch to turn/off lights' or is it shorter? Btw, is it a 1 way/2 way communication for switch? Last review I read mentioned that it's 1 way, like if you turn it off the app didn't update the last current on/off condition This post has been edited by alucard89: Jan 24 2017, 08:51 AM |

QUOTE(idoblu @ Jan 24 2017, 10:54 AM) then have to add postage and taxes, i think better to get from Lazada (no need pay postage, or taxes) No tax, just postage (rm13 for 1st kg, then rm6 for next 0.5kg)sometimes can even get further discounts the switch cannot do dimming right? Not sore about that, mostly on/off |

QUOTE(idoblu @ Jan 24 2017, 11:00 AM) there is another company that makes switches that can dim - http://www.livolo.com I've read on that one.but it dont have timer function and cannot connect to the Net But the control is a bit different since don't have dedicated on/off button like other normal rf remote control 1 guy tried using with broadlink but it didn't work properly. You can search for it on YouTube, forgot which link |

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Jan 24 2017, 08:32 AM) How many did you get and how long have they been working so far? I bought 2 x two gang switch, each cost ~ RM40, just install recently so I can't confirm it is reliable or notAlso, how long is the command line? Last review I read mentioned that it's 1 way, like if you turn it off the app didn't update the last current on/off condition each button in the Broadlink e-control app has an entry in the RM tasker, you can create a macro to combine multiple button actions, then, you can create a Alexa device contain the macro, let say I create movie macro which to turn on TV and amplifier, and I create Alexa device name in RM tasker call Watch Movie, then, you can talk to Alexa like "Alexa, turn on Watch Movie", Alexa will automatically execute the movie macro actions Broadlink TC is 1 way communication, just like other IR devices. z-wave, zigbee, wifi are mostly 2 ways communication QUOTE(idoblu @ Jan 24 2017, 08:58 AM) where are you guys buying Broadlink stuff from? cheapest source and preferably with no Custom tax and import duties world.taobao.com or www.aliexpress.com, aliexpress is more expensive but it is English interface and mostly free shippingThis post has been edited by Kiding: Jan 24 2017, 05:31 PM |
