Ok. understand the circuit you show.

The circuit you show is only backup circuit. Once change over to backup, it only supply to 2 red wire point which is lamp. And 1 yellow wire wall socket of 13A.

Correct
I don’t understand why it doesn’t like the Aqara connected to it.
My other Aqara connected to Yellow is okay

If not joint L1 and L2 with wire, but just the L, how was it?

Or L is red live and L1 is red to lamp. Leave the L2 empty.
*
If you suspect the Aqara is the problem (which I did at first), I moved the Red lamp wire from L1 to L2
Still tripped.

I did not try just live wire. Okay tomorrow I might try but I think it’s useless because I disconnect both Red Live, it still tripped. This doesn’t makes sense to me. The red lamp wire can’t connect with yellow phase live?

todays installation at another room went without a hitch except that somehow it didnt fit the hole very well. strange that no big chunks of plaster had broken off but dunno why now there is a big gap. Sigh, I need to patch it later.

This Aqara unit was the one tripping yesterday. So its not the Aqara problem but my wiring

I think the white one is for surface mount. That is why the hole is big. It will need very fine job the place the mounting socket flushed to surface and straight to properly place the switch panel. The black mounting box is a bit smaller and the switch facet will act like bezel to cover the hole.

I just use that white cement plaster from Pye to patch. If you mix it right, it will not shrink .

They sell both pre-mix and powder form in box. Much cheaper in powder form and can store it almost forever laugh.gif . I still have some left from several years ago and it is still not caking smile.gif

Guys, need some advice, as i have been adding more connected device, im experiencing drops in connection, this happens mostly on the ipcams and now even on echo dot. is there a limit of devices /sub devices that can be connected ? i think i have about 40 connection with around 15 subdevices

i am currently using mavis fiber 10mbps, i have connected mi router to the main network all devices to be connected to the network on xiaomi router, reason being, fr the ipcams to dump the recording in the hdd attached to the router and easier to manage all devices under single network

Walau so congested.

I think the problem more on your home network than the maxis. The router probably cannot coupe with the wifi devise.

Those devise using a lot of data sure will suffer.
