y don try WP's wee wee pad?
i jus sked jack go step on da poo oni..

but some times he noes how to go to newspaper there to do all his pee poo business wor. Sometimes he jz cincai pee poo only. I also dunno wud he want from me. My parents are at KL now .. so, I no more put him in cage. The cage is jz a temporary for him. I never plan to lock him up in cage or playpen one. I lock him in my ROOM . But got let him roam around in living room when I supervise him. The problem is ar .. he noes the newspaper is for him to pee poo but he jz like sengaja cincai poo one. Everyday ... almost 6 am like that, he will pee poo in newspapers and then wake me up to pick away the poo for him. He pee poo in tray wor. But daytime , it seems that he doesn't like to do his bisnis in the tray.

Kenot use wee wee pad. It'll cost me a lot in the long-run. I might as well save up the money for Hepy's emergency use and use the money to buy accessories or toys or treats for him . U use wee wee pad, jack jack will also step on the poo one ma except that he will not step on the urine. I put newspapers on tray then covered with floormats. So, when he peed, he will not stepped on the urine. As for poo, he neva step on them b4 unless if i put him in the cage like past few days.

Ur Hepy wont eat his poo ah? My FIFI sometimes will eat her poo if no one notice she already pooed. So everytime need to quickly pick it up before she start "tasting" it, yuks...........
Like last nite loh, she quitely poo on the newspaper then u know wat happen lah.....that I'm watching drama, when i go check her, she is eating!!! then i quickly scold her loh....actually i think she know eating poo is wrong, bcoz when she sees me, she quickly run and hide. After cleaning, i cage her for punishment.

Hahhaahaha ... maybe shih tzu likes to eat poop gua . I never see Hepy eating his own poop before. Every middle of night around 3 am or 4 am or 6 am, he sure licks licks me to wake me up to clean up his poop for him. Hepy's only problem is cincai pee poo whenever he likes to. If his mood is good, ahaaa .. then he will be obedient and pee poo in the tray. But almost everyday I sure got clean up his mess on the floor and I can't seem to catch him red-handed. When I catch him red-handed, I would scold him loud loud and spank his ass once (not that hard actually). then i would ignore him for HOURSSSS ...

Hepy is reli a fast learner lor. hahaha Hepy know that the tray for pee and poo but still sumtimes will poo at door , i think the back door still got it poo marking smell there.

I jz used white vinegar to wipe the area at my door there. Hopefully will eliminate his previous smell . You guys got use plain water to mop through after you've applied vinegar ?

Nope. Just diluted distilled white vinegar will do.

I didn't dilute the white vinegar . I pour some on a piece of clothe and straight wipe at the area where he always poo.

I really dun know whether he will push it down. So far, I have not seen any shih tzus push it down la. But I dunno whether your jack jack very 'ngau' or not la

i think if u buy four, definitely cannot push down one lah, but confirm jack jack can push it and move it. If u buy only one at put at the door, i think a shih tzu can easily push it down loh......

jtl .. I already wiped the area/spot with vinegar yesterday. But this morning I woke up and saw his pee at the SAME SPOT again!!! . Normally at nite, he will go to tray to pee one ma but why last nite he go pee at the spot where I cleaned with white vinegar?? Then hor, I caught him RED-HANDED this morning after he makan, he poo at the SAME SPOT again!!!!!! I smack his ass and scolded him NOOOOOOOOOOOO. He's not sked one until I smacked his ass once. Then I put him at the tray, ask him shh shh and ng ng ... he jz stare at me and then he laid in the tray

After he peed at that spot, did you wipe off the pee with water first and then vinegar? The vinegar is suppose to mask any leftover urine smell but it will not make the dog not go there. If your dog is already used to doing at that spot, then it may be a problem.

Perhaps you can go for crate training. This works on the premise that dogs will generally not pee/poo at their sleeping place. Try reading this link. But this requires time and requires for you to be home whilst undergoing this training

I didnt use white vinegar before although my furkid last time did poo /pee at back door but then after i sucess train my furkid which is toilet train it . then it never ever poo/pee at back door anymore. so i think u cage train it first lor ? cuz i found out i use cage train it is quite effective. hmmm hope thw white vinegar can help to clear those Hepy makring at back door then

last nite i went out for grocery shopping, so i put him in the cage. When I came home, he poo in the cage and he tidur on the poops . Why ler ? How to cage train ?

hmmmm @@...if is like that . which wan u feel is convenient to u ? if is playpen , i think i been give some idea to how 2 teach if ur Hepy in the playpen.

and if u wanted to let ur Hepy stay in cage while u go out , first thing u have to make sure Hepy poo/pee before going cage . normally i noe the time when my furkid will poo/pee. so from now on u will let Hepy stay in cage while u go out or play pen first?

playpen kenot - worse. In playpen, he doens't even know where to pee or poo. He cincai pee and poo in teh playpen and then he lay on top of them. I can't be bathing him everyday - later he sick, i also sick . The best way is cage lor. At least in the cage, when he pee, the urine gets absorbed by the newspaper. The only problem with cage is his poops. I dunno his exact time of pee poo. He pee poo whenever he feels like it. Sometimes, he ate in the morning and nite time baru poo. So, i kenot predict his time of doing business.

Added on May 5, 2007, 9:50 pmby the way, how can i regain back my hepy's confidence towards me?? First week, he only follows me and when other ppl call him, he no choi one and he's sked of them. But after the day i started to let Hepy play with my housemate, now he only follow my housemate. No more choi me when i call him and no more close to me. Seems like "other people"'s dog
