Man, so bummed out after the loss.

Dybala out for a couple of weeks; doesn't help that these few weeks are crucial.

Higuain's goal drought continues.
*
yeap, a lost always felt bitter

but atleast the race for the league looks tight once again. Don't want anyone to called us Juveliga with a runaway 8pts on the top real soon laugh.gif

Higuain didn't get any good services from the trio in midfield. Most of the dangerous pass came from Alex Sandro. Pjanic ineffective bcoz we lack
the ball winning midfielder in the center, heck he gotta play down instead of behind the strikers.

btw, with a handful of players out, hopefully we got to see a 4-3-3 Juve against the 'mighty' Sampdoria at home

Higuain upfront flanked by Cuadrado & Alex Sandro

nah its not a drought if he had no service whatsoever. i pity him, he had to drop to midfield to try win the ball and dribble and do everything by himself. Shows how poor Hernanes and Khedira were laugh.gif

But whatever it is, money spent on Higuain is so far still more worth it compared to that 120mil Pogba. Those Man Utd fans thought they have crushed our small little club when they got Pogba off us. Even came in to troll. Now... 4-0 Chelsea and horrid performance after performance. These idiots never learn...They dont know respect. Thry thought by buying Ibra, Mourinho and Pogba they are suddenly the best and greatest and can mock others. Even come to our thread to talk cock when we are not even in the same league. Look whose laughing now laugh.gif

vs Milan, midfield was weak, perhaps lack of ideas. maybe lichteiner should be in instead of alves. and the subs too was not fit. why cuadrado when there is mandzukic. why sturaro for hernanes, then switch to back 4.

milan played a decent game, but that strike ... wow. probably milan fans will complain about that muntari goal, but I remember that Juve won good 3-1 on that. so maybe that was a bit pointless, while for this game juve deserve at least 1 point

Honestly I didn't watch the game, but the loss still hurts.

I have to admit that I feel bad not watching all their games. I don't know if it's an age factor but at 33, I just can't seem to stay up as late or wake up for their 2:45am games anymore. I realised this a couple of years back when I just kept missing the alarms I set for their early morning games. And if I did wake up for their games I'd only have a couple of hours sleep (that is IF I manage to fall asleep) before I have to get up for work. The CL games were not too bad, I guess because they were at 3:45am and in my mind CL seems to be more crucial especially in the knock-out phases.

Therefore, I didn't see that Higuain didn't get the service he required, but I picked up on that when Allegri commented the same thing after the game. Overall, of course I didn't see how the team performed. Watching the highlights doesn't really do justice for me at least.

Perhaps also we've been quite spoilt over the last 5 years, I mean, 5 in a row? C'mon right? When I started supporting Juve back in '97 when I was 14, I never thought I'd see them win so many in a row. So a loss is harder to take when we've won so regularly.

It's true, I'd also rather it be a tight race till the end, I too wouldn't want the rest of Europe calling Serie A a one team league.

I hope we turn things around when we host Sampdoria on Thursday; one thing I've realised since the start of the Conte era is that this Juve seems to have no problems forgetting the previous game if it was a loss and we are able to turn things around almost immediately.

No kidding about Pogba bro.

I think I signed up with LYN toward the end of the Man U fan trolling our thread, I remember reading a bit of it hehe.

But do I feel bad for Pogba; I want him to do well; he served us well and left on good terms. I'm not sure but maybe he's under a lot of pressure to perform, probably expected to work wonders and turn a game around by sheer will.

i think some of fans still mad at him bcoz he left not really on a good term. Esp after some mind & words game played by him & his agent Raiola during the transfer saga

heck, i wouldn't be complaining for dat +100M Juve got from him. And don't rule out Juve resigning Pogba on a cheap if he didn't meet the expectation there (it already happen
a few times b4, and surely gonna happen again) laugh.gif

My younger brother is actually a Man Utd fan. But he seems pretty level headed. My father and him go at it on the weekends because my father is a fan of Arsenal + any other EPL team apart from Man Utd haha.

I spoke to my brother briefly about the game against Chelsea and he thinks that Man Utd currently don't have an identity and that they think buying star players can solve their problem. Just as a disclaimer, I AM NOT TROLLING yea but just conveying what he said.

Generally, as a football fan though, it is shocking to see a giant like Man Utd struggle for the last few years and I kind of feel for them, but maybe that's just me as a person.

I feel bad for Pogba though, he's still young, I wonder how he's handling all this.

Thanks for the link bro, I'll be sure to check it out if/when I miss the next game.

About the eventual transfer to Man Utd; he did sort of play with us a little. Also are you guys annoyed with Raiola? I don't know what's going on for real but during the Pogba transfer 'saga' the media made it look like he was influencing Pogba to go.

Plus he seems to be an agent for the top players, even Moise Kean!

I think Juve fans won't have an issue if Pogba comes back. As for Coman, does Juve still own him? He's still on loan at Bayern Munich or? I remember he wasn't too nice when we played them last season and then he HAD to score. That was just rubbing it in haha.

Looks like it might be longer than 10-15 days, they are doing more tests to determine the lay-off period: http://www.football-italia.net/93377/dybal...f-may-be-longer

Pogba did not leave on good terms. Yes, he did not bad mouthed Juve but look at that circus of will he or will he not leave fiasco. That is total disrespect to both set of fans esepcially Juve's. I mean if you want to leave, just leave, like Vidal. Why all the dramas and the haircuts and the selfies and the interviews with Juve fans he will stay. Those are toally uncalled for and was seen as troling Juve fans. We supported him well enough not to deserve that. If he wanted to leave, just informed the club and the fans and leave. No need for all that fiasco. You dont see me hating on Vidal do you? He is my favourite player and he left as a professional. I respect that because he respect the Juve fans too in way

As for Man Utd, why do you have to feel sorry for them? Did they feel sorry when they dominated for the past 23 years? You are 33 right? That means same age as myself. Did you not live through the eras where Man Utd fans were the most arrogant and scum like in the world? They are still as arrogant as the beginning of the season where they came in to troll us for destroying us by taking our "ONLY" star player away from us and that we will crash and burn in a stupid and fuckup league. On top of that, their arrogance are further fueled by having Ibra and Mourinho. The best midfielder in the world Pogba, best striker in the world Ibra and greatest manager in the modern game Mourinho. They are back to the best, back to being the greatest. So pity them and Pogba my ass. laugh.gif

I do remember Pogba's transfer saga being rather long and drawn out. It actually got to the point that it was annoying. It's true that he didn't talk much or bad-mouth Juve but his actions were enough. In all honesty, we didn't need that drama last summer.

Regarding Man Utd fans being arrogant, man did I feel it in the late 90s. And being pretty much the only Juve fan in class, it was hard but one just had to face it everyday especially after a CL night.

Except after 2006/07 when Juve was decent in Europe, and especially 2003 when 3 teams from Italy was in UCL semi, as Juve/Serie A fans, I don't feel any inferior, especially to ManU/BPL fans. Though, I must admit I was also in the non-MU team boat once, and really love to see them loose.

3 managers after Fergy, MU is still rocking boat and their fans still could not accept this. Players are paid professionals, they just play according to manager/coach, so it's really Fergie factor for ManU. No one can replace emulate him yet. I hope they stay that way for another decade and be next Liverpool tongue.gif

In seeing BPL teams ups and downs, before our current 5 year runs Juve still have bad memories. But after new management and new stadia seems juve is ahead of other teams by about 5 years biggrin.gif. so lets hope this continue and attract more players.

Pogba/Vidal whoever left Juve, mostly for money or playing time. I just don't believe mantra like 'i want to win ucl', you can do that with Juve. It's just down to bad/good professionals. Good professionals like Buffon, Marchisio, Chiello, Barzagli are rare. Even Padoin is good professionals. He left because he know he could no longer contribute. Pogba probably still naive, he should not leave all to Raiola. Hopefully Moise Kean is not spoilt.

i was abit luckier, me and my pal were the only 2 juve fans in the class.. laugh.gif

The 99 to 08 years were the toughest as that period was when man utd was at the top of their game hence their fans at their most arrogant. they are still arrogant today, but those losses have kept them in check so far. if man utd start winning those fans will rear their ugly head again rolleyes.gif
