QUOTE(Jusstatic @ Oct 26 2016, 04:17 PM) i was abit luckier, me and my pal were the only 2 juve fans in the class.. It's hard to find Juve fans huh?The 99 to 08 years were the toughest as that period was when man utd was at the top of their game hence their fans at their most arrogant. they are still arrogant today, but those losses have kept them in check so far. if man utd start winning those fans will rear their ugly head again In some ways though, despite the teasing, it was really sweet when Italy won the world cup in 2006. That was like a personal victory for me; most of those who made fun of me back in school were EPL and England supporters. But by then I guess everyone had matured and way past that teasing stage. I hope us Juve fans stay humble during our ups and downs with the club. |

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Oct 27 2016, 08:09 AM) missed the match last night, overslept I missed it too, but woke up at 3:30 to check the score; it was 2-0 then. So I thought they'd probably win and I went back to sleep haha.Chiello with 2 goals, but his mistake lead to Samporia pulling 1 back and finally Mandukic ended his drought, he really need that goal and i sense he'll open his floodgate after this Nice to see the team bounce back; they need this morale going into their game with Napoli this weekend. Maybe too early to tell but looks like this season will be quite tight; a lot of teams have improved and proving to be bona fide title contenders. While I think Juve have done really well during the transfer window; I still feel we haven't seen the real Juve. I know I haven't seen all their games but I get the feeling the new guys have a lot more to offer; and not forgetting the players who remained from last year - I think we still haven't fully clicked or gelled. I hope it happens and soon too because I'd really like to see us win the CL this season. By the way, I thought Pjanic was injured? He played AND scored? Wow. Also, anyone have an update on Pjaca? |

I miss the first 10 mins too, woke up 245, then struggle to find good stream on the android box.
one thing i first notice is the back 4 setup, hence look like 4-4diamond-2. this is new, after accustom to 3-5-2 for quite some time now. It was OK, with Evra/Sandro got more space to start the attcking move compare to others that was closed down quickly. since cuadrado on the right wing, dani alves was limited to full back only. i like him better when as a wingback. on flat 4, barzagli or Rugani is better. On left side, Pjanic is there most of the time, but he seldom can get good balls in. i think asamoah might do better there. the goal was due to chiello error, seems he is also accustom to back three, hence his diagonal ball really come short. even bonucci made the same mistakes few times. marchisio is marchisio. he gave all, still fun to watch. maybe some lack of match fitness. khedira was OK too, sort of free rolling in the midfield. still the service to strikers quite lacking. from the past macthes, we can see higuain has very good technique and seldom miss the target. so it's really polishing up the midfield to get more attacking balls. vs Napoli on Saturday it's really midfield battle. I expect we are back to 3-5-2 again, probably some minor change. khedira should be no-10 behind higuan. alves probably on winback and cuadrado start on the bench. i really want to see moise kean in action... |

3 sweet points indeed.
Any thoughts on Buffon's latest comments that Juve as a team need to 'up' their game in order to compete with the big boys in the UCL? |

QUOTE(estcin @ Nov 1 2016, 02:29 PM) mental barrier has always been Juve biggest problem in UCLtake last season tie vs Bayern for example, we let them bossed us for 60+ minutes, and after Robben's goal Juve "waked up" and nearly beaten the German giant. And continued the form when we bested Bayern in their backyard until Lewandowski's goal luckily we didn't have this problem when facing Real Madrid, hence why Juve always have the upper hands against em |

That was just awesome. Except for maybe the '98 final :/take last season tie vs Bayern for example, we let them bossed us for 60+ minutes, and after Robben's goal Juve "waked up" and nearly beaten the German giant. Except for maybe the '98 final :/ yeah, dat 2008 tie in Bernabeu, Del Piero with brilliant solo goal & sublime freekick dat left Casillas motionless I'm gonna try and get an early night so I can wake up for match tonight. even when Real beat Juve its always with some controversy. 1998 UCL final Mijatovic's offside goal, 2014 (2-1 in Bernabeu) with Chiellini getting sent off with a controversial red card & penalty Good luck, hopefully i wouldn't be the one Juve LYNers watching tonight match |
