Witsel's move collapsed

I am neither sad or happy about this. We should be able to win Serie A again but UCL is off with Asamoah, Lemina, Sturaro and Hernanes as ours subs for our 1st choice midfield

I think we should be ok without Witsel right?

Also if he's still keen in a year we should get him for free.

We have a pretty good reserve team too and I really hope we can compete on all 3 fronts although CL and another Scudetto would make me happy at this stage

Our midfield is too thin. Khedira is so injury prone, marchisio is a doubt after recovering from ACL to find his form. Asamoah is so shaky. Lemina is good but still a raw gem. Most if not all our current mids are not too good defensively. Witsel is good at holding the ball and spray passes without giving heart attacks from losing the ball. Our defense and forward is good but the mid is just not too optimistic. We must be way more ambitious by becoming a real contender for the UCL and not just the Serie A bully.

we havent seen pjanic in action yet. I believe he should be ok, even when playing mid like lemina/pjanic/asamoah or cuadrado/pjanic/lemina, this is probably good for early part of UCL. We are not meeting good teams anyway.

the real issue should be in the elimination round, should be in February. I think by this time Marchisio should be fit. hopefully Pjanic/Khedira can maintain fitness as well

There is rumour spreading, Linch rejected new contract offer and proposed a move to Inter, and rejecting offer from germany. this cost juve 10mil and he is now on his final year of his contract
