You guyz download speed still better than mine loh..... guess how fast is my bt download speed right now?

0.4 kbps!!!

Used to be 90 - 100 kbps.

Some more my line was down for 5 days....this month alone.

Monopoly sucks.... mad.gif

They should also replace the idiots at the call center......they always tell you to unplug your router and do the typical set up....and tell them the error code......

What other error codes are there lah..... 678 lah... stupid!!

If not they'll ask you if your modem light is blinking..... haiz.......think I'm blind meh.....

Call center also don't look like a call center..... call 10 - 20 times only got reply....

Go eat shit lah.. vmad.gif
*
brother, instead of telling them to go eat shit here, why don't you call them and taruh them on the phone? Tell us what they say to you after you taruh tmnet, okay?

Also, raaargh raagh so angry and all that.
nwk, you are a hero and an inspiration. I wish more consumers in Malaysia were like you. Really, I do. Keep it up, man.

Thanks for your support. I am just fighting for our consumer rights. Nobody in their right mind likes to be cheated of their hard earned money. Only a defender of the tmnet universe would not complain like us.

got a called from COO division just now. as usual they' say they're upgrading the lines and not throttling. They will have press conference which i dont believe at all. sigh...

2 days already i cant dl torrent at all... 0kbps.
*
Only 2 days? That is not so bad compared to some of us. We have been throttled for almost 2 months now!!!! Fortunately, some of us know of other ways to bypass the shaping. By the way, what is COO division?

the worst thing about this throttling is when they block the trackers. i have always got this problem connecting to the trackers. it is not so bad if the torrent is a public one because you can still connect to some peers via DHT but private trackers won't allow DHT. So if you can't connect to a private tracker, you can't download anything!

i cari pasal with tmnet again this morning. i ask the cs boy why are they still throttling my connection and you know what he say? he tell me to go to speedometer website to test speed! I taruh him and say there is nothing wrong with my speed and I demand to know why are they still throttling me. then he tell me bullshit storey about my connection to server and how if there are many people on that server my connection will be slow. then i taruh him again and say your ceo already told me you are throttling p2p traffic, why are you telling me about server speed? then he panic and say this could be because of a nationwide service disruption going on now and he blame the technicians for controlling the speed and he say he can't control the speed. So i ask him how long this service disruption will be? he say he have no idea.

those tmnet cs robots still want to tell bullshit storey about p2p even though their ceo already admit it. when are they going to start telling us the truth? guys, if you call CS and they tell you bullshit when you ask about throtttling, please don't waste time and taruh them right away! don't give chance to them!!!!

i cari pasal just to pressure those idiots into telling the truth. i already know the truth since a guy from ceo office told me. anyway for those who want to complain to ceo but cannot get through because his mailbox is full, here is his new email address: ceo@tmnet.com.my

i sent another email to ceo this morning again to demand they stop this throttling business immediately.

I sent TMNet an email regarding this issue on Thursday, and a couple more issues raised recently (possible implementation of download quotas, future bandwidth issues).

I received an email (not an automated one) from TMNet yesterday promising a 'thorough response' to my queries by the end of next week.  I will publish their response verbatim on our front page [http://www.lowyat.net] when I do get it.
*
thanks for your support! I hope you will get a reply soon and publish it on the front page of lowyat. I also hope they don't give you an automated response or some letter that says we will look into it, blah, blah. Let us all pray that tmnet will come clean and give us an official response on the p2p throttling issue.

we know now the bt speed is teruk
how about http dl
how fast is it?

http download is not consistent. sometimes you will get full speed and sometimes you will get slow speed. tm@#$nut throttle p2p does not make http downloads go full speed 100 percent. for downloads to go full speed all the time, tm@#$nut must have the balls to buy more bandwidth but we all know they have not done so until today.

today i receive email from tmnets

this is what they say,

Dear Sir/Madam,

"Thank you for your e-mail to TMNet. Firstly, we would like to apologise for the late reply.

With regards to your query, please be informed that we have lodged a report and the report number is 3050640. Should you need to check your report status, kindly contact our Technical Department at 1-300-88-9515 (select option 3 for Technical Assistance).

Should you require further assistance or would like to submit any enquiry/feedback, kindly visit www.tm.net.my and click "Need Help? Contact our Customer Service".

We thank you for taking the time to write to us and look forward to serve you better."

this is what i reply.

I'm so dissapointed with TMNET way of solving problem, I been sending numerous complaint email and now only you people lodged a report on my problem.

What the heck are you people been doing? Staring at the monitor screen and try to understand what is the problem for the pass few weeks?or those "thing" that work at the customer service center are monkey and hyppo? or they are just simply idiot human?

TMNET service is so bad, and yet you people who work in the front end don't take customer complaint seriously? How do you guys want to move and provided the best broadband service in Malaysia? With this kind of service support I doubt that Multimedia will be archive before year 2020.

nice reply brother. i like the way you taruh them but you forgot to ask them if they know the meaning of internet or not, again!

no problem brother. the more you taruh tm@#$nut, the more pressure you put on them for all of us who is suffering from their stupid throttling. let them know they can't play play with us (the customers).

just now there was some idiot calling himself tm.net in here. if you were here just now i think you would have taruh him kaw kaw because he insult everyone who use BT.

i wonder if we all can get together and protest right in front of michael lai's office and yell slogan's like "tmnet cheat", "tmnet does not deliver" or "tmnet is malaysia's worst broadband provider"?!

if the situation does not improve soon, i intend to write a formal letter of complaint to CFM and also to the Consumer Affairs Ministry about tmnet's false advertisement and unfair policies. i am so getting sick of this nonesense. all of you guys will agree with me that we should get what we are paying for and that is for broadband speeds, not dialup speeds!

something funny happened to my bt last night. my vpn speed suddenly drop to zero after running for about 20 minutes. so i switched it off and i let the torrent continue running. To my surprise, my speed suddenly flew to 150K+ unthrottled! I wonder if michael lai told those nuts to unthrottle me or what? will check my speed again tonight after work.

NWK that happened to me on Saturday night though the speed burst only lasted 10 or so seconds - it happened a few times during the evening though.
*
for me the speed burst lasted until the end of my download. the speed was not consistent though. it was more like a roller coaster ride. Sometimes it will go up to 150K+ and sometimes it will go down to about 50K+. All my peers at the time were a mix of local and international peers.

Then maybe it is geographical. In my area, nothing is affected. Especially when I download from this particular server - six concurrent connections, and I max my bandwidth any time 24/7. If I started to see throttling I would cancel my account.
*
can you tell us what area you are in that is not throttled please and how much do you pay for your package a month?
