the only problem about passing the job to another ISP is that the goverment supports tmnut by giving them the monopoly over the business. if goverment takes away the monopoly then other ISP even foreign ones can come in and make tmnut bankrupt.

Ahmadinejad is religious nutjob trying to keep Iran in the dark ages by halting the flow of globalisation any way he can. I don't care if you agree with his policies or not, if you're anti US or pro Israel, anybody trying to hold back the inevitable march of progress is an idiot in my eyes.

Why all the hate for Lim Keng Yaik though? He's trying at least?
*
why the hate for lim keng yaek you ask? because he refuses to take away the monopoly from tmnut and open up the market to all competitors. he lets tm controls the last mile connection for our phone lines so tmnut gets all the internet business. that's why we all hate lim keng yaek.

i just called CFM regarding my complaint to tmnut. i have waited for more then a week for tmnut to respond to my complaint and there has been no contact from them whatsoever. CFM told me that they are still waiting for tmnut to update them about my complaints. it looks like those monkeys at tmnut are either sleeping on the job or they are ignoring CFM after getting many complaints coming from all of us. Anyway, CFM told me to call them back again if those idiots at tmnut don't contact me in a few days about my complaint.

I suggest you guy should also query them about not implementing this P2P throttling fairly nationwide. It saddens me when my neighbours are boasting about how fast their Home66 packages are with uncapped P2P download speeds when my RM88 Home package can't even get past 5kB/s!

Ask that f%r#*r CEO what the h#*& is he doing sitting on his b**t smoking crack over his office. We demand an explanation. Why some subscribers are entitled to special treatment when they pay even less?
*
i have already asked through cfm, but cfm says tmnut didn't update them about the situation yet. so i will wait until the end of the week before i complain to cfm again. i don't bother to email the ceo anymore because he never replies back to me and i don't want to waste my time talking to the robots at tmnut's customer service either.

Must be the act of cronies and filthy corrupted people working at TMnet then.It seems sad but true is still going till today....

Those Streamyx techs are exploiting this situation to charge undertable money to change people's port.Last year and before you heard of people saying that they could get uncapped lines by paying some extra amount of money to the installer? Now they case have changed...if you want to have your phone line hooked up to some nice port with nice ip ranges you will need to do more than just making a call up and complain.Fast way is..arrange it with your local Streamyx representitive and tell him what u want of course with some extra duit kopi.He/She'll then do the sweet talking with the Tmnet installer in the exchange.
*
can anyone else confirm this story. is it true that tmnut and their installers are all a bunch of corrupted buggers who will "fix" your connection or even unthrottle you for extra money under the table?

Everyone knows their 1-300 is a pure waste of time. When this Streamyx started, you can always call up your local tech directly on his handphone though he'll sometimes not answer you unless he knows you well. But today the only way you can get to them is through your local resellers who seems to know their names and direct contacts *surprisingly if you willing to show them that you're interested.Hard to earn money mah in this country. It's good u get to know more contacts. icon_rolleyes.gif
*
do you mind telling me any resellers in PJ that can offer this "service" you are talking about? PM me if you do. I rather pay this guys then waste my time with tmnut to get rid of the throttling.

Hello,
everyone I have a problem.
Why my line when the time after around 5pm, the dsl light of my modem will blink and the SNR margin for downstream are less than 9, this alway happen at night until the morning. When at the 9am to 5pm, the dsl light normally not blink. but the P2P still like throttle, only have the speed less than 10kb.

After when i throttle P2P by the tm, this problem are alway happen.
Can any occur this problem so?

Any idea to solve it?
The phone line cable are arealdy change to new. Are that also effect by the modem?
My modem brand are Prolink 9000p and aztech 305eu, both are use more than 3 years.
Will this modem are outdate to support the dsl line?

Can any one give some idea for solve the problem.

there is probably a problem with your connection caused by the traffic shaping hardware at your telephone exchange. call tmnut customer service and complain about your connection and tell them to send a technician to your house to check it.

hahahahaha this is so funny biggrin.gif i taruh them kaw kaw until she said, they are having bandwidth problem so they got no choice to throttle all the international p2p and also http connection, then i told her that is really stupid tongue.gif then she keep quiet and i told her that's not the way to do it, because if they do that those ppl who register the line for business will be infected, and also not to forget the stupid upgrade from you all, give 2mb of free upgrade but still capped at 1mb what's the point of doing that, isn't that is just a waste of bandwidth and she got abit nervous when i tell her that, from the way she answer my question, and before i could finish taruh her, she say ok mr.ng (i was like wtf blink.gif) i'll ask the technical person to call you. then tu tu tu tu (hang up already)
*
that is very funny they call you mr ng after you taruh them like that but very rude of that girl to hang up the phone before you can finish talking. anyway they also told me that a technician will call me but so far nobody call me. please tell us if a technician call you and let us know what the technician say to you.

will report if they call, well if they don't call i'm going to spam them with email biggrin.gif

muaa ahahahahaha
*
thank you for reporting. if they don't call you back you can also complain to cfm and tell cfm they ignore your complain so cfm can send a letter to their ceo to taruh them.

just got an update from cfm. they say, tmnut does not gurantee any problems with the international link and p2p downloads. they say tmnut is only responsible for domestic traffic only. they also recommend us to email cfm if tmnut still does not give you the speed you pay for so they can show it to tmnut's ceo and their management just how bad their service is. they recommend email because they can't write down everything on the phone if you talk to them.

i think it is an outrage that tmnet dare to say they only give internet service for domestic use only. it is totally ridiculous. those dimwits at tmnut don't even know the meaning of internet.

I'm going to drop them an email now biggrin.gif ask them to call me tongue.gif i want to cari pasal now biggrin.gif my internal flame is burning...because of their stupidity...
*
you are right to cari pasal. tmnet is run by uneducated people who don't know the meaning of internet. call them and give them all the f-word for us. when you call ask to speak to their manager and don't waste time talking to the CS person. when the manager speak to you, ask him or her if they know the meaning of internet or not. if they still give you that same stupid excuse the tmnet is only responsible for domestic use only, then tell them if you are not responsible if you take your own sweet time paying your bill.

wah! you are so cool and brave to *** tmnet like that. even they sue you, i think you stand a good chance of winning because they failed to deliver what they have promised you when you signed up for the service and that is unlimited access to the internet. Good show brother! I salute you for standing up for your consumer rights rclxms.gif . By the way, did you ask them if they know the meaning of internet or not?

I hope everyone here who is affected with BT throttling will taruh them like you. I have already taruh them when some stupid guy from ceo office called me to explain about the throttling 2 weeks ago. Now they don't even bother to call me anymore when I complain to CFM. If thousands of people taruh them like you did just now, I am sure they will get rid of that stupid trafic shaping hardware and remove all the speed restriction.

give them all the pressure we have, but i pity them also biggrin.gif, well what the heck, they don't do as what they said biggrin.gif can't blame us to be cruel biggrin.gif

if they want to move to be a top ISP or move towards the future, they have to be more efficent biggrin.gif
*
they also have to be more honest to their customers and change their attitude of doing business instead of doing what they do now. They also have to get rid of that stupid tidak apa & malaysia boleh mindset of theirs. They think they have monopoly they can do anything. Like you said before, without us (the customers), tmnet is NOTHING!
