QUOTE(tirumisu @ Nov 8 2006, 11:36 AM) Hmm just a guess.Maybe BN is trying to win the hearts of its Nothern supporters for the coming elections. You know Pak Lah's stronghold is in Kepala Bata Penang.Summore they got Penangfon up there. Dunno just wild guess. But if this i to come I bet BN will soon lose many supporters in Southern Perak, Klang Valley and East Malaysia. those bn buggers have already lost my support. i won't be voting for them in the next elections and i hope there is a coup d'etat in tm*nut HQ that will throw michael lai out of office, so that they will bring in somebody else who actually knows the meaning of broadband.

QUOTE(sophomore @ Nov 8 2006, 04:10 PM) technician just called me today and admitted bout the throttling...direct downloads from other countrys are also affected coz they said their international links are broken =.=.. and guarantee to be fixed by next year but throttling will be permanent though.. =( thanks for telling us about your technician's call. some of us here have actually suspected there was a problem with the international link but those baboons at CS kept on denying it. As for the BT throttling you have confirmed to me that the nut in the ceo office has lied to me about lifting the BT throttling at the end of the year. Now we all know tm*nut's true intentions are. At least your technician was honest enough to admit about the BT throttling and international link problem, but I don't know if you can believe his gurantee about the international link being fixed by the end of the year though. it sounds just like the way tm*nut told me about how they were going to buy more bandwidth by the end of the year. our hopes for the end of BT throttling are gone now. No thanks to that "great satan" michael lai and his baboons at tm*nut!

QUOTE(tirumisu @ Nov 8 2006, 04:24 PM) Cut off due to late payment sounds more like it. Recovering international links don't take months unless you have submarine cables that got physically damaged in the sea.TMnet must be having conflicts with some of their Tier-1 providers and their having trouble coming to some agreement. It wonders me why did they take down those links before Raya when they should be anticipating the rise in traffic during the holiday season? they don't have money to pay their tiers because all the money that was supposed to be used for buying bandwidth has gone to the pockets of the corrupt cronies at tm*nut. one of them happens to be michael lai! that's just my 2 cents.

QUOTE(tirumisu @ Nov 8 2006, 04:39 PM) I don't think it's a surprise thing that the international links were taken down.It can't be that coincident while they gave notices of upgrades before it happen.Either they messed the whole thing up or as I say one of their Tier-1 providers disconnected them. By the way my torrent suddenly shot up to 140-150kBps at the moment.Dunno what happened. are you using vpn, ssh or proxy for your torrent? a few of us have experianced speed burst like yours only to find it is only temporary.

QUOTE(andylol @ Nov 8 2006, 05:01 PM) oic..... everybody got notice your DHT network got connection or not, mine nv have connect b4.... i think that is call tmnet throttling.... tmnet has block DHT network connection... without DHT network... hehe....no word to said.... dht works fine for me. the only thing that pisses me off is when my vpn speeds drops down to zero without warning! as if throttling bt wasn't bad enough those baboons want to screw with vpn also. anyway i think you are having dht problems because you didn't forward your ports properly. if that is the case, go to www.portforward.com for instructions.

Here's a piece of advice when you complain to tm*nut, DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!!!

QUOTE(LittleGhost @ Nov 8 2006, 07:41 PM) it's not really possible. TMnet is not stupid when it comes to these. They might be extremely retarded in providing solid services to us, but when it comes to bullying, they are simply omnipotent. we will see. the guys who are developing those BT clients aren't stupid either. they are more smarter then you think and when everyone around the world is suffering like us, they will find a way to bypass this kind of farking traffic shaper. have you noticed that the major BT clients haven't had an update in months? that is because they are probably working on a way to bypass this type of shaping. TM*nut isn't the only ISP using these kind of shaper. There is a ISP in Canada called Rojers doing the same kind of throttling as TM*nut and their customers are just as angry as we are. TM*nut, omnipotent? with the kind of baboons running that kok company, i don't think so.

QUOTE(peterbrutus @ Nov 9 2006, 12:31 AM) Sigh, we're living in Malaysia, my friend. Anti TM Campaign is still possible. As for protest, the moment i create a thread titled "Pls gather at TM building tomorrow morning to rant our frustration!", only 2 things will happen: 1) Less than 5 ppl turn up 2) Thread will be deleted within 3 minutes. protest should be organized if you don't want something funny to happen like less then 5 ppl turning up. it would also be better if an MP or a politician who can sympathize with our problem join the protest. Otherwise there is no point protesting and the evil empire of tm*nut wins again. why should the thread be deleted within 3 minutes? Isn't this suppose to be a democratic country or am I suddenly living in North Korea now?

QUOTE(peterbrutus @ Nov 9 2006, 12:43 AM) we're not democratic country ok? or shud i say, we're fake democratic country. If you've been following 'RWI' for sometimes you'll understand. I can say fxxk bush in america but if i say fxxk pxx lxx in public here in malaysia i'll be in jail tomorrow. anyway, back to the topic. perhaps those who knows some politician here can organize it and I'll be no.1 to turn up. yeah, i know this democracy is fake. just take a look at the massive corruption here like that mr joystick fiasco. Even TM*nut is a corrupt company with corrupt executives.

Pak Lah warned people JANGAN KACAU! despite his promise of openness, tolerance and transparency. if pak lah is not transparent, do you expect a corrupt company like tm*nut to be transparent? they don't even have the balls to annouce in their website that they are throttling p2p and are running out of bandwidth!

someone said that tm*nut was suppose to be holding a press conference to give an official annoucement about the throttling, running out of bandwidth, etc. but until now, there is no annoucement! what happened? michael lai lost his balls and chickened out or is he afraid that a huge mob will congregate at his office and lynch him alive?!!!!

QUOTE(sanook @ Nov 9 2006, 12:17 PM) tm.net is so farking stupid, it hurts. this is the first time I saw someone pull something so farking big of his ass. it is painful to watch him do that and pathetic for him to do that. ouch! that's going to leave a mark....... to tm.net: if your boss is michael lai, go tell your boss to come clean about the p2p throttle and bandwidth problems. tell him to stop playing chicken and have the balls to make an official annoucement. otherwise come judgement day, he will appear before his god (if he even has one), and he will burn in hell for cheating all of us. QUOTE(ddddashhhh @ Nov 9 2006, 01:38 PM) im sorry nwk, he called me when im in a very concentrating doing my works and i have no time to let him bullshit me around, he told me he would rectify it. tats it, i said ok. but if our home line still get throttled after 1 week (7days) i would like to complain to CFM again. Btw, all i asked from my previous complain is only 2 thing. 1. unthrottled the bandwith to us, the user 2. if they don unthrottled, then refund us, the user the amount we paid that we don use. see how they gonna react in this week. you know, i ask them the same questions like you did. i even asked that idiot michael lai about it. neither he nor the baboons at tm*nut reply back to me. hopefully they will give answer all your questions.
