QUOTE(jacc @ Oct 22 2006, 02:28 PM) how do we reach the CEO's office, and how do we reach the CFM? Tell me i m so pissed with the connection. call 1-800-18-2222 at CFM's hotline and fire away your complaints. The CEO can be reached at ceo@tm.net.my but I doubt he will read your email because some guy claiming to be from the ceo's office will call you back instead. So put on the PRESSURE and fire away your complaints! |

QUOTE(soulxtc @ Oct 22 2006, 11:09 PM) Hey all, Im the news editor for Zeropaid.com, a P2P, file-sharing website and am doing an article on this development with TM Net. Wow, I am famous! Thanks for quoting me in your article. Hopefully everyone in the whole wide world will read about how our so called "best broadband provider" in Malaysia is cheating it's customers in broad daylight. I also hope this article will be read by TMnut's CEO and all the politicians in Malaysia so that it will embarrass them until they do something about this unfair situation we are in.Exetel, an Australian ISP, did this previously, cutting P2P speeds in halb from Noon to Midnight, for the same reason supposedly but looks as though will be permanent. Any comments I an use for my article would be appreciated, like how different your speeds are now and anything you may know as to what's going on . QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Oct 23 2006, 08:40 PM) Update u guyz on my BT speed 2day - still running full speed don't be so happy. there are plenty of TMnut spies here and you can bet your life, that they are reading this thread now and they know you are still unthrottled. Don't be surprised when in the next couple of days, you find your speeds drop down to zero and you will be in the same boat with us.Downloaded stuff etc are censored.....hehe [attachmentid=146931] |

I have just sent an email to soulxtc regarding our P2P throttling. I told him everything from start to finish and how TMnut denied everything until they admitted it to us. I hope he will update his story in his website and more people around the world will know how TMnut is cheating all our money away with this unfair P2P throttling.
If you guys have anything more you would like to tell soulxtc, please email him at jared@zeropaid.com so he can further update his story on his website. LONG LIVE P2P!!!!!!!!! |

QUOTE(tAmp0i @ Oct 24 2006, 07:48 PM) I honestly think that we need to remind TMnet, P2P has brought tremendous impact towards the subscription each and the coming year.... Do we need 1MB to reply mails and load www.lowyat.net? of course we don't need 1MB for surfing and emails. like my good friend soulxtc said, it's because of P2P we are using the speed for. |

QUOTE(work_tgr @ Oct 25 2006, 01:56 PM) that is just normal with < 10k download speed with international peer. I would disagree with you about "TMnet didn't do anything" because you call that pathethic excuse of an upgrade "doing something"? That's nothing! You can't even get 80 percent of those so called upgraded speeds, not with BT & all P2P traffic throttled to high heaven! Let TMnut do something more concrete then some cheap modem sync upgrade like lifting the throttle and increasing their bandwidth, then I will call that "doing something"!!!!TMnet had upgraded customers' broadband from 512k to 1M or 1.5M. I will say TMnet's service is BAD and the improvement progress is just TOO SLOW. |

QUOTE(TC_Boy @ Oct 25 2006, 03:41 PM) It's amazing. Here I am uploading to a guy in Brazil at FULL 256 kbps speed. Whereas we can't even download anything thru bittorrent at 256 kbps speed. Last I remember Brazil is a poor and developing country where football is the main way out of poverty while we are steaming forward to developed status by 2020. Looks like we are now heading in the wrong direction. yes you are right. even a poor country like Brazil is better then us because they respect their customers enough to give them what they are paying for unlike this lousy country full of corrupt monopolies. Countries like Brazil are going forward while Malaysia is going backwards all the way down the toilet!!! |

QUOTE(work_tgr @ Oct 25 2006, 07:17 PM) well .... not that right, actually. Talk to us again when you can download with that kind of speed from international peers. we are not intrested in local peers and cheap TMnut upgrades!I download 1 file with local peer and can reach 150kb stable ( mine is 512k, and now being upgrade to 1.5M) |

QUOTE(am_eniey @ Oct 26 2006, 01:45 PM) Here's my download performances. (Healthy torrents only) 8 months???!! your connection may be bad, that's why you think you are being throttled. anyway your situation now may be temporary because many guys here have found themselves unthrottled only to be throttled again a few days later.Movie DVDrip (approx 700MB) = around 100kBps Drama TVrip (approx 350MB) = around 150kBps Mp3 Album (approx 90MB) = around 165+kBps I'm using RM88 package with 1Mbps where they say automatically upgraded to 1.5Mbps. Using bitcomet 0.70. Living in Bayan Baru, Penang (Island of food, rubbish and lubricant river). My torrent was throttled for the past 8 months, I was getting less then 5kBps.....now no more, but for how long. |

QUOTE(destiny6 @ Oct 27 2006, 12:09 AM) yes, you are a victim and you have been victimized by tmnut. another sign that you are being throttled is, you can't connect to the tracker no matter how many times you try. i suggest you first complain to tmnut and if you are not satisfied by their lame excuses then you complain to cfm. also tell all your friends who are getting the same problem like you to complain to tmnut and cfm. |

QUOTE(quintessential @ Oct 27 2006, 01:53 PM) since the bandwidth throtthling, is the quality of service improved? i mean no blinking, frequent disconnection whatsoever. the quality of the service is still the same. the only thing nice about it is the so called "free" upgrade they give you by making your modem sync up to 2MB. Otherwise BT is still throttled to high heaven and other download speeds like HTTP is not consistent as they should be. |
