in my opinion that colour scheme looks like some bootleg you get in a pasar malam.

QUOTE(madmoz @ Jul 17 2015, 06:40 PM) yup.. the blue and red looks extremely cheap.. not quite what you would expect from bandai at all.. the plasticky feel and the color combination is just terrible, compared to what you see on screen |

Lol i am pretty disaponted with the quality. Some HG kits i saw look pretty ok without panel lining but for this, you really should panel line or it'll remind you of those cheap china toy robot knock offs XD.

anyone know how to do shading without making a mess?
i used pencil while it works great on heavy shades, too easy for the fingers to smudge the surface in the process. i would assume those tamiya weathering powder have the same problem. |

QUOTE(Vorador @ Jul 17 2015, 11:55 PM) Hey may I ask if you face any loose problem at the arm joint? (your photo, circled area) I notice mine was kinda loose when carrying weapons, not sure which part gone wrong. (Yes with LED fixed in it) i seldom move my Unicorn so far it's still stiff, never carry any weapons too, only display in NTD unchained modeBtw just done transforming and back to the shelf |

QUOTE(Vorador @ Jul 17 2015, 11:52 PM) but i'm asking how not to dirty the kit while shading. powder like tamiya weathering & pencil can easily stain other areas especially when you handle them while shading, i tried eraser it doesn't remove them well and will stain even more if eraser touch other shade areas. |

I've heard that the Gundam Marker Eraser helps in removing the stain you mentioned, without affecting the paint/topcoat beneath |

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone here has use Mr.Mark softer and Mr. mark setter for waterslide decals application. I'm interested in trying it, Juus a question. Does it ruin the paint job at the area you want to put your decal on or is it totally safe?

It's completely safe on my lacquer for softer but just be careful if u used cheap decals. |

QUOTE(aliffasuka @ Jul 18 2015, 07:36 PM) I'm using mr hobby acrylic paints, thought ijust bought setter only since there was no stock of softer Unsure of acrylic will affect or not but setter just for decals to stick better on glossy surface while softer is to softens your decals to apply evenly on curvy parts. If your intention to create glossy surface might require to try on runner 1st. Most likely will loose your glossy finish. |

Does it ruin the paint job at the area you want to put your decal on or is it totally safe? setter wouldn't affect your paint at as it only acts as a glue for decals to adhere to the surfacesofter on the other hand, for lack of better word, 'melts' decals and paint together, so that decals would blend into the surface it won't ruin your paint surface, but be careful not to apply too much, if not the paint would 'melt' too much and start to deform on the area which came into contact with the softer solution |
