It's worth it, consider that you won a discount to purchase the plated HG.
In the end Bandai wins. I like MG Star Build Strike but only Build Strike Full Package is offered along with separate Star Booster.

Haha, true true. It's another way to look at it. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Jul 15 2015, 07:10 PM)
to me this is a huge turn off as a marketing gimmick.. if i wanted the whole team as per the show i'll need to buy 3 boxes and have 6 add on interchangable parts put to the side
i would rather they box individual units and sell that way, so that i won't have junk parts lying around if i want the whole team of 3

as it is now, i'd much rather wait for a potential KO to separate the units or include a box set of 3 full units with 3 packs than to buy bandai's offering.. feel like they should've made it cheaper but with only 1 unit per box
*
If they box it individually means they need to make different sets of runners for each and make different boxes. I still think this is the best way to do it to keep costs low.

And having extra junks lying around is always good for customizing thumbup.gif

Well, that's just my two cents.

For those the love to customize their own gundam, those are their favorite. Additional parts.
But talking about this, it also quite troublesome as i myself also almost collected additional part that can create a new gundam up =.=

Noobie to Gunpla building scene. Went on a binge and got Winning, Star Winning, Astray Sengoku and recently Tryon 3. This is in like a two week period XD. Anyway still super novice so forgive the crappy build. Tryon 3 I finished building recently and with some extra part got a really bluish Tryon 3 Double Zeta Gundam. Found that when trying to pose with the sword especially, it's a real bitch. Balancing the sword weight and the backpack and you can have only some limited poses with it tipping over. Better with a stand

The hand joint articulation is flimsy so it really cannot hold the giant sword in place. YOu have to carefully position it so the Tryon 3 crotch supports it. So you end up being only able to do one pose. And the pose is the variation you see in the box and instruction manual. Further more with so many stuff jutting out, once you get one part nicely in place, another part falls off. That pose u saw me do in the photo took me a good 10 to 15 minutes to make sure it doesn't topple over or hand goes out of place. Quite tempted to just break it into its separate pieces and display lol.
