i gotten some 3rd party decals, probably not by samuel, the quality is bad since some alignment is off and the sizes are uneven among the same decal design

is water decals really superior against the stickers type?  i notice that the stickers is thicker and usually come in square instead of following the shapes, will coating hide it or it will appear to be rather obvious that they're stickers?

one of the most noticeable alignment issue is the chest decal where u have letters and a red lining, the red line actually cover up the text and the length of left to right are uneven

I display ny MG FAU in unicorn mode
because the normal red psychoframe MG is displayed in destroy mode

water slide can be pretty nice if mr softer is incorporated properly since it will melt some of the decals transparents plastic and make the decals looks like a dry transfer, but the risk is that apply too much will eat up the decals too?

actually the best is normal decals as they dont have stickers edge like water decals do, only downside to normal decals is the application.

when you scratch that much on your gunpla fearing to scratch them its like hell on earth...

as for water decals you dont have that problem plus you can use tamiya mark softer to make the sticker like edges less obvious.

still if apply on certain gunpla color you will still notice you water decal edges on certain angle.

another advantages on water decals is that i heard you can buy transparent water decals and print your own design, detail wise is depends on your printer resolution...

sorry for the noob question, actually what it means by eat/melt the decals, does it means that it eat up the diagram itself or just the tranparent sheets?
i bought a softer but only try a few times when the area is too difficult for the decal to bend, and i realise mark setter has some softer effect too so most of the time i just apply another layer of setter on top of decals after i properly position it.
