Thanks bro. As what I know, Aventus has what they call, Fruity and Smokey batch. I have the 17 batch ones 17R01, a balanced out as they say in reviews.
But just interested for the vintage Smokey batch, as they say are available in the 120ml one's.



How about Dyptique? any feedback for this frag, this is also available in Ken's

Diptyque is more French in nature - bold and each has its own characteristics.

Try to have a sniff at Diptyque Pavi (owned by Ken's as well).

A few notable ones are such as:

TamDao
Vetyverio
34 (EDP version)
Philosykos

Some of its fragrances are available in both EDT and EDP while some are exclusively on EDP concentration only.

I find that EDT is fresher while EDP is more concentrated and deep.

Vintage for aventus are pre 15 batch. The older the batch, the higher the price. And some specific batches are even higher than the rest from the same year. They are so called ‘grail’ batch. Some are heavy with pineapple@berry@apple, some are heavy with birch (smoky) etc. Thats why some clone such as Parfums vintage created few aventus clone which focus/amplify on few different notes. They are quite good but a little bit overpriced. Definitely far better than CDNIM and L’aventure. Your 17R01 is fine, unless u really prefer the smoky batch. I personally prefer your batch compared to some of 15batch. Aventus is a good cologne. Overhyped? Definitely yes.

get a whiff of aventus while doing workout. Just want to get a scent of that smokey batch, to get some reference, a decant will do

mind giving a review on Ombre Leather?

having thoughts on the oud wood of tom ford given the tropical weather that we have here in MY.

still need to have few testings because I just got this today
but initial impression it's a more wearable version of tuscan leather

I just wear what I like. I don't really mind the weather here in MY or else we'll only stuck with freshies summer scent all year long

Since you already have a bottle, my suggestion is don’t waste your money for another bottle just for the sake of different batches. I’m aware of the batch differences, and I don’t care that much as long as I have a bottle of authentic Aventus. I highly suggest you to spend the money for other good offerings from Creed e.g: Green Irish Tweed, Viking, Himalaya, Silver Mountain Water, Virgin Island Water....etc. Or maybe try from other houses (TF, MFK...etc)

As for Diptyque, I personally have Tam Dao, Vetyverio and Oud Palao in my possession. Love them all and I have also tried Benjoin Boheme, Tempo, Eau Duelle, Do Son, Philosykos, L’Ombre dans l’Eau, Eau Minthe and 34 and they all nice too. Get a few samples first, then only pull the trigger. Go to Diptyque boutique (also owned by Kens) in Pavillion instead of Kens other outlet as they have extensive range there.

Please share your take on Noir Extreme and Black Phantom. I love both Oud Wood and Ombre Leather too.

I considered BdC Parfum as my signature scent for the month of March, as I wore it a lot. The best among the 3 (EdT vs EdP vs Parfum) I would say. Very elegant and enjoyful to wear. I don’t really care much about the notes in here since the scent itself speaks, especially the dry down...so beautiful. Full bottle worthy.

Nice Gourmandish Frag. I think i can drink this. lol. Performance is above average on me for longevity with moderate projection. I didnt get Rum or boozy note. Overall, black phantom is 1 of the most popular from "By Kilian" house and definitely a solid fragrance. But for those that cannot tolerate sweet fragrance, this might not be for u. I tried Back 2 black before, and it is very nice for tobacco lover.

Lol same reaction as bro gl0be.iv. Unfortunately i still have mixed feelings with this fragrance, maybe need to try others from this brand. But then again judging by the reviews they are not going into people pleaser type of scent i think?
