Hello guys, i'm still new in fragrance world but i have started collecting few bottles including niche. I would like to check if Luxury Perfume Malaysia - http://www.luxuryperfumemalaysia.com selling authentic stuffs? They have 2 outlets - Kencana Wholesale and another one in Ara Damansara. Been to their Kencana store once and they have huge range mostly designers brand. You can find few rare/niche brand too. Bought couple of sample vials perfume there last and there seem legit. Price, cheaper than counter/brand kiosk/brand specialty store. But would to check here first with you guys if anyone of you had experienced buying from them.

Thanks

Hey do you mind doing decant for aqua universalis and BR540?
*
Hey bro, terribly sorry. I don’t plan to do any decant yet as of now. In fact, i don’t even unwrap the box yet. So sorry, but i highly recommend you to order samples from MFK online store, then only decide if you want to purchase full bottle. It cost €14 for 4 samples inc shipping to Malaysia.

I purchased samples from them last Sept. It was fast, ordered on Sunday, received on Thursday (same week) via DHL. No issue with custom since it was not even 100 bucks purchasement.

Wow that was fast. What did you get?
*
Indeed fast bro!
Got myself 4 vials - BR540 extrait, Oud satin mood extrait, Oud extrait and Petit Matin. Tested thoroughly until I fall in love with BR540 and Oud satin mood, which ended up i purchased full bottle of both frags.

TdH is quite a popular scent though I never owned one. Would love to one day  biggrin.gif

As for a cheaper TdH, a quick look at a few of my usual go to places for my fragrance need leads me to TdH Parfum 1, TdH Parfum 2, TdH Parfum 3, TdH Parfum Set & TdH EDT. The gift set is the most valuable one if you ask me. All are legit perfume seller and I've bought from them previously. Happy hunting!  icon_idea.gif
Most welcome bro  thumbup.gif

I bought few designer frags from Luxury Perfume in the past and they are indeed legit, reliable and only sell authentic items. Highly recommended.

Nice, have been hearing good things about both BR540 and oud satin mood. How's the performance bro? Beast mode?😄
*
BR540 extrait has a very unique sweet scent, denser than edp version, less cotton candy vibe compared to edp. Not so challenging scent where you can wear it in any situations. If you don't like sweet scent, probably you won't like BR540. Performance - projection is good but not so lasting. Last top 6 hours on my skin then it became a skin scent. Drydown is superb - woody, bit of salty (probably from ambergris) and elegant. Try it first and don't blind buy it.

Oud satin mood extrait - easy to wear oud frag. Even easier than TF Oud Wood. If you like stronger oud, probably this is not suitable for you. Nice and subtle oud+floral with powdery vibe. Performance top notch on my skin - projection around 3 hours, and it last more than 10 hours before it became a skin scent (cool and less humid situation eg indoor airconditioned). I consider this as a soft, luxury/elegant, subtle, smooth oud frag. Blind buy proof if you are into oud scent.

Hope that helps bro

very nice indeed. come get one bro  brows.gif
You're most welcome bro. Glad to be of help. Later come share your haul with us  biggrin.gif
You should try get a decant sample from bros in here. I do believe some of them can give you a decant of both Aventus & Green Irish Tweed (not old irish tweed) tongue.gif for a reasonable price. Those two are well loved fragrance within the community  wub.gif
Even the seller said authenthic grade 5A perfume. wtf does that even mean. authentic but 5A grade?  even got people review long lasting somemore. really weird how they can get that performance from a fake. I even heard some fake got use like urine or something inside the fragrance  puke.gif

Guys, I present you my last week haul. Rasasi LaYuqawam. Very Very Very Very identical to TF Tuscan Leather. So glad bro ferros recommend this one to me  thumbup.gif
The packaging for this one really puts other expensive niche fragrance to shame *cough* creed *cough* tf private blend *cough*
The bottle sits in this nice wooden box and even got magnet somemore in between the box. Really really well done on the packaging.

Where did you buy your Amouage lines bro? Starhill/pavilion boutique or pop-up counter? Excellent haul you have there.

Ok I bought one from the first link (RM 270, with a RM 20 voucher so RM 250 only) for the TDH EdT. It's now out of stock so looks like he only had one, which further supports the notion that it's genuine. Thanks for your help!

I've heard a lot about Creed -- Aventus and Old Irish Tweed. Wanting to give them a try now, lol. Will need to find some samples.
*
You can buy Aventus sample vial from luxuryperfume. Check for GIT vial as well, they might have that in stock too. Or you can simply walk into Kens Apothecary to test Aventus or any Creed lines.

My fellow fragheads, I got mine from Midvalley Metrojaya, the one opposite Sephora. Thanks to bro ferros for this info. For men only left dia, myths, memoir, fate & lyric limited edition. The normal one costed around 550-ish and the lyric was 880 iinm. For women still have quite a lot of choice. Go grab yours while it's still available!  icon_idea.gif

Wow 550 for normal one, cheaper than robinson, isetan and boutique. Too bad no, interlude, imitation or epic.

Thank you so much bro for that details description, definitely will help me on choosing the samples rclxms.gif

Gonna go with oud satin mood extrait then brows.gif ,but im not sure if i should get both BR540 extrait and BR540 edp,or just one of them and then the freshies one from their collections hmm.gif
*
All of their “aqua” ranges are freshies. But i suggest you to test it first at counter since their “fresh” is not equivalent to Sauvage, BdC, AdG, Invictus aqua kind of scent.

Petit Matin is another fresh frag for my nose. You can’t go wrong with it. Its a blind buy proof, but I still suggest you to try it at the counter.

Hmm interesting hmm.gif

But petit matin seems solid enough for me, so does amyris homme. Guess i just need to try all of them sweat.gif
*
Try them all and don’t forget to try Grand Soir too. If you are a woody scent lover, you will definitely love it. Strong and very intense raw sandalwood scent. I like the scent but it is too strong to my nose. I prefer lighter and smoother sandalwood eg Diptyque Tam Dao. But worth to try, who knows you like it.

how do you guys pull off some heavy/winter fragrance in Malaysian weather? less spray? layer with fresh fragrance?
*
I won’t wear heavy/winter frag during hot day. It will be too cloying. For me, on very hot day and outdoor activity cologne+deodorant is good enough. Recommendation - Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne or BdC EDT concentration.

Alright bro thanks icon_rolleyes.gif

Any other niches brand that you would recommend?
*
Come on bro, you are sifu, I don't have many niches in my collection. I only have/tested those brand that is accessible in our country. Keen to own Xerjoff, By Killian, Roja, Maison Martin Margiela and the list goes on and on....

I'm pretty sure you have tried/owned Mancera, Acqua Di Parma, Montale, Jo Malone, Atelier, Goutal, Parfums De Marly....on top of MFK, Amouage, Diptyque, Creed, TF, MCD, Chanel Les Exclusifs, Zegna EC.....these are the brands that I can think of now which accessible here in KL. I might have missed some others, so please share what other brand that can be found in KL.

If you like natural/less synthetic scent, I highly recommend Diptyque edp Philosykos, Tam Dao or Vetyverio. If you like warm, vanilla and spices try Parfums De Marly Herod/Pegasus. Fresh and sharp - Mancera Cedrat Bois (many said it has similarity with Aventus, but I don't kinda agree with it). Others like Creed, Amouage, MFK, TF I'm pretty sure you have sampled/owned them already.

Never tried/owned any from MCD, Chanel Les Exclusifs, Zegna EC, Frag Du Bois and many more....how about you bro, share you thought and experience please.

Been sampling Viking for quite sometimes and yesterday decided to get a full bottle. I know many hate it but it works for me wonderfully.

Since I’m broke now, I’m letting go MFK Aqua Universalis Forte EDP for only RM550 (retail RM800++). Acquired last month during MFK Christmas promo. Missing only 2 sprays and level as seen on picture. Full presentation including cellophane. Let me know if anyone interested.

Bro, mind to share where u get creed Viking? How much the price? Thanks.

Bought from Kens The Garden. But you can checkout other Kens outlet too if Garden is not so convenient for you. Call first before you plan to drop by to check stock availability. Price 1.3k++, cheaper than buying from oversea.

Hey can i know how you get those samples? do you ask from the shops that sells them, like Ken's?
*
I bought Atelier Santal Carmin back in June and they gave me Viking’s sample together with few others. I’m not sure if you can just ask them for sample since never done that before. They will give you samples when you purchase anything from their store and they are quite generous I would say.

New haul, acquired last Sunday. Been comparing this with Atelier Oud Saphir.....scent wise pretty close but Ombre Leather is more dark and warm. Lighter version of Tuscan Leather, less challenging to wear, suitable for office too as it not so offensive. Smooth and bit sweeter compared to TL. Highly recommended.
