For similar vibe from the house of Dior maybe you would want to checkout Dior Homme instead for longer longevity.
To my nose, DHC and DH has nothing in common...Perfumes for Guys v4, Discussion anything about fragrance

QUOTE(cheefai7 @ Nov 1 2016, 04:27 PM) I happen to be wearing it today. Doesn't even smell remotely similar to the original Colonia. The Essenza is a neroli bomb. If the original is a casual day-time scent, the Essenza is for a smart casual evening out. Performance is quite good for an EdC by the way.![]() This post has been edited by t0n3: Nov 1 2016, 04:52 PM |

Hi guys, my dad loves this perfume he has - Pierre Cardin EDT. It's over 20 yrs old so I think it's not in production anymore (at least I can't find it in Malaysia). Any recommendation of a similar scent to this? Not sure if anyone has smelled it before but worth a shot asking..

I believe you are referring to this one :-- http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Pierre-...sieur-2599.html - http://www.basenotes.net/ID26121292.html It is still in production and you can find it at Fragrancex :- - http://www.fragrancex.com/products/_cid_co...__products.html However, I'm sure it's been reformulated after all these years. You might wanna try searching the vintage juice from Ebay. This post has been edited by t0n3: Nov 2 2016, 10:41 AM |

I'm really excited to try the two new releases, Au Coeur du Désert by Tauer Perfumes and Civet by Zoologist Perfumes. Au Coeur du Désert is an extrait version of the famous L`Air du Desert Marocain. Read more about the soon to be released Civet perfume here :-

By mainstream, I mean those cleaned up version for the Western market. I'm not particularly fond of oud to begin with so I don't have much experience in this but I like Leather Oud by Dior and Cambodian oud oil. They say Indian oud is fecal but I don't find Oud Assam by Rania J animalic at all.Just curious..I'm newbie in Oud.Wonder If you had try any of those above This post has been edited by t0n3: Nov 3 2016, 04:01 PM |

Thanks bro.I'm pretty sure nobody will be offended by you since you're one of the most respected poster here.Like I said before,I'm just beginner of the Oud..From what I read, those Feel Oud,Ensar and Agar Aura are the real deal(did they?).Just curious If you have tried any of those real oud oil.I also find out that Agar Aura is based in Malaysia. So we have at least 2 highly regarded fragrance/oud house here.(the other one is Auphorie). Not bad kan? |

Or want to play the real deal by buying some real agar wood and burnt them as incense, i think it does cost more effort to extract them as oil.I also find out that Agar Aura is based in Malaysia. So we have at least 2 highly regarded fragrance/oud house here.(the other one is Auphorie). Not bad kan? |
