SOTD - L'Air de Rien by Miller Harris
Salty musky amber with a funky twist. Created for Jane Birkin, which evokes her nostalgic memories of dusty libraries and old books.

SOTD - Musc Tonkin by PdE
This is currently my favorite animalic musk followed closely by Musc Ravageur (vanillic musk with clove) and L'Air de Rien (salty human skin). Although musk is the only note listed in MT, I definitely get some floral from it. It smells like classic floral chypre, which is one of the reasons why I love it so much.

6)hanae mori edp or edt (dunno how the smell pls help wheter edp or edt bttr in terms of smell)
I had the EdT last time. If not because I already have AHEB, I wouldn't sell it. With that said, one cannot compare this to AHEB, which smells just like fresh lemon and Madagascar vanilla pods. HM is a candied lemon + vanillin + blackcurrent + some floral, which actually smells really good too and because of the floral, it can be a little feminine. Performance was quite good on my skin. Better than AHEB. I have not tried the EdP but many say it has the same compositions, only denser. I still wear it sometimes from a decant I decanted before selling it.

I'm by no means an expert in this but one tell-tale sign that it's most probably fake is that all perfumes are priced the same.

True also. Will wear it tomorrow  tongue.gif . I love the design of the bottle. Feel like a champion. By the way, what do you all mean when you said decant?
*
Perfume decant is a process of transferring perfume liquid from full bottle to smaller bottle, which can come in various sizes ranging from as small as 1ml dabber to as large as 50ml or larger. Basically, it's how usually we sample different perfumes from peers or online decant stores.

You can read more about it here http://theperfumedcourt.com/what-is-a-decant

I wanna know, I bought a Bvlgari Aqva Tonic from one of our community vendors. Sold to me around RM170+. When I was surveying around a mall and entered the perfume shop, the bottle costs around RM380+, almost 400+! Any reason for this?
*
Be careful when buying from LY vendors. Only trust those reputable ones. If the price is too good to be true it probably is fake. Perfumes in physical stores generally has higher marked up margin due to middlemen and operating cost IMO. Check out the price of your perfume from several online stores and you will what the standard price is. For example, you could check the price from :-

I'm just too oblivious to know which is Ori and which is fake. Yes, buying online is cheap, but how cheap is cheap? Is around RM180+ considered cheap and original? e.g. http://www.lelong.com.my/merchant/khaiful.htm

Yes, a reputable seller but need a second opinion.
*
I've just visited the link you posted. Wow, Aventus Creed for men 120ml for only RM129 and the word "rejected". I don't have confidence buying from there. Well, that's just my opinion.

Me, too, in terms of confidence. But his "rejected" term means rejected box only? Can that be true too? Wouldn't think such a seller with reputation can do that, no?
*
I think rejected means factory rejects according to them like our Reject Shop (but notice they have brand cut out). AFAIK, I've only seen "rejected" perfumes selling online in Malaysia. I don't think designer house like Chanel wants their customers to buy their "rejected" products.

If you have lots of perfume, is it ok to store all the bottles in the same cabinet?
*
Why not? If the cabinet is big enough. On top of that, adhere to these dos and donts :-

hi guys realise that lazada is selling perfumes at a very interesting price. for example i checked the bvlgari aqva pour home marine at 40% DISCOUNT. not sure is genuine or not? was planing to get after i go parkson to test the scent.
*
I'm quite skeptical about it TBH. Saw Chanel No.5 EdT there. Retail price for 100ml is RM400 at Parkson.

thats because usually these online shops would sell old stock (i.e. 2-3 years after it was manufactured). A lot of retail stores get rid of bottles that are 2-3 years past their manufacturing date.
*
Sounds like it's pretty legit, eh? Prices for the other perfumes from this seller look pretty standard for an online price. Having said that, I'm still on the fence on this as Chanel is one the most counterfeited brands.

Actually went to test out some perfume. Davidoff cool water and cool water summer seas. Any commend on it? Does it last long? Am using it for weekends or going out at night. Suitable?
*
Those are more for casual wears. General rule of thumbs, fresh+citrus+light = day and heavy+sweet+leather+animalic+oriental (amber/vanilla based) = night. Having said that, it would be so boring if you had to stick to those rules. Just wear whatever that will make you feel good and happy wink.gif
