Thanks
Maxis already potong myy service today, too late to try
But I'm seeing more and more SSID changing from @Unifi to @Maxis in my area, that's quite alarming...
*
Haha, so efficient. Last time my Unifi took 2 weeks to terminate. My Digi fibre also took around 10 days.
Nothing to worry, people nowadays are more open to choose their providers. Unlike those days marketting will convince you the other provider service sucks.

You mean you old modem given during your Maxis Fiber era works seamlessly with Unifi without changing any settings on the modem?

That's quite interesting

Yes, I even cross checked the OLT credentials
Same password, different serial
Tried the same password on 3 different ONU (Huawei,ZTE,Nokia), all worked without the need to change the serial. I managed to get the VOIP service working on all 3 ONU as well.
*My maxis was on TM infra

During my time, I waited for a few days and it is like 2 more days UniFi will come and do the necessary but still no call from Maxis.
Called Maxis to "check" my transfer and passed to another team to offer me. tongue.gif

If you need the offer, then yes call them. For his case, I think he do not need any offer from Maxis, thus will just let Maxis to approve.

call the customer service and ask for termination, they will call you back and offer you.
Or switch to unifi and enjoys 6 months free subscription.

First get transfer ID from Unifi or Celcom fibre, then call Maxis customer service informing them you want to transfer out. Call again to follow up and ask for promo if they do not call you back.

For places that have both Unifi or Maxis Fibre option, which would be your pick?

I used Unifi for the longest time at my parents' place and now moving out to my own place. Maxis Fibre okay?

Pick whichever that's cheaper for you as their network quality is more or less the same

If you use Maxis postpaid, you can get Maxis fiber for a really cheap price

Unifi is faster at rectifying service fault but if it's a new condo, it rarely happen

The components of Unifi Home Fibre Service:
- Internet service
- Voice over internet (VOIP) service
- UnifiTV

What are the components of Maxis Home Fibre service? Is it just internet service and phone service?

I want just internet service and phone service.

The reason of me rejecting Unifi Home Fibre Service is that I am unable to remove UnifiTV from Unifi Home Fibre Service.

Thank you.

call maxis last Thursday and open case for fiber termination, no call back and i message them in X platform, today they call back

my current plan is RM89 30Mbps (last time sign up RM59 for 12months, RM89 for next 12 months)
maxis now offer me RM89 for 100Mbps (permanently, after 24months contract still RM89) with FREE 6 months
+ maxis offer me RM20 rebate on my postpaid RM79 for 24months, (pay RM20 less for 24months)

seems good deal right? will call them back tomorrow if ok with the deal sweat.gif

Unifi offers almost same free 6 months but 36 months contract

I think you can walk into any maxis centre and ask about the 1gbps deal.. saw that in one of the maxis centre poster. Also don't forget when you sign up for 1gbps, you can add-on devices or tv at a much cheaper rate too wink.gif
