for me it was technicolor, aminia and now TP link ...

i kept the technicolour, returned the aminia and using TP link now ...

i doubt they will distribute the aminia as based on their current stock / trend, they are giving out the TPlink during the fibernation promo ...

i bypass hehehe - i just use the TP link as a VOIP and Lan to another Asus AC66 used as wifi ... very stable connection cos less load on both.

both getting 100MB / 50MB down and up ...

i did follow previously but some settings changed.


Before: BTU - Asus AC66 (Router and WIFI) - Thompson TG784 (VOIP)

< after fibernation upgrade - VOIP on Thompson did not work>

After: BTU - Thompson TG784 (Router and VOIP) - Asus AC66 (WIFI in AP Mode)

< after TP link router delivered >

Now: BTU Lan 2 - WAN TP Link Lan 2 (Router and VOIP) - Lan 3 Asus AC66 (WIFI in AP Mode)

works like a charm now ...

TP Link : just disabled both 2.5 and 5 Ghz wifi SSID - other than that nope
Asus : just select in AP mode and that's all ...

my Asus still connected to the CCTV, NAS, backup storage as before.

my c5v so far no reboot - but off and on i always on and off the BTU, Asus and c5V ...

all items are being cooled with fan and no load on them - all separated function hence maybe i don't hv any issues so far. ..

i received the sim before when they upgraded to the Aminoa but now they hv not send me the usd dongle
