My friend told me that he would loan about 100k from asb and invest in some asb scheme to repay the loan and in 10 years time he would get the money for free. He has to suffer for 1 year to repay off monthly payment. What is the scheme called? Thanks in advance.

I believe its ASB loan.
you will get the money for "free", only if you don't withdraw any money from it for 10years and keep paying off the loan monthly. and assuming the dividend(+bonus) to be >9%

it's a "LOAN", so its has interest rate.

Brief version:
you borrow money from the bank (ie. Maybank) with interest rate around 3%.
then keep that money in the ASB for around 9% dividend pa. net profit (around 6%)

pay off the money you borrow from the bank monthly.

Was at Shah Alam, left my kid at INTEC for JPA registration.

I went round town, tried the ASNB Shah Alam - told same thing! no quota?!

Then surprisingly Pos Office Seksyen 14 said can open. easy with IC only, but kid must be there. so done one, one more to go.

Wait. So ASNB refused your application to open an account for your kid but that Post Office said no problem? I thought previously you open with ASNB?

yes asnb persiaran damai shah alam also said full no quota. then i went buy stamp, simply asked and surprised the girl said yes, can open, but kid must go. but her drawer only got the yellow book stated 'Dewasa', she nearly told me under 18 cannot, i insisted can ,she went checking then did it.

Persiaran Damai Shah Alam? Didn't know that ASNB has a branch there. I only of ASNB branch in the umno building beside TNB. Unless I got my directions in Shah Alam all wrong than I apologize
