have you guys ever thought about inflation rate in Malaysia?
with all this 1mdb issue, ringgit value going down...

is keeping money in FD or ASX worth it?

Thanks for the bad news! Ha.

Wonder why did 1MXX have the cross default clause in there while they knew its serious and wide implications?

Otherwise could not get the money?

Another Malaysia Boleh  Semua Boleh attitude?

Worth it......eg if you have RM4M put in long term FD 4.5%, your passive income is RM15k a month.

And with ASX is even better , more than RM21k! Why bother about inflation rate?

unless you are bumi where you can buy into ASB, IMO, this is not a wise investment plan just putting the 4M into PNB bond. With 4M, you can move 50% of this money to invest into others thing like property and buy some good blue chip shares like Maybank, PB and Genting.

top-up 2k ASM at Maybank today sweat.gif

while doing the transaction, I notice there's some "network congestion" @ loading problem.. The computer screen went "blank" for 1-2 minutes before all the details are loaded ohmy.gif in the end got my units sweat.gif

I think a lot of people also trying at the same time or selling at the same time thus I managed to "grab" the units laugh.gif
