My tank is a 1.5ft tank. After placing the cup, aroma burner, food bowl, bottle, toilet roll, then no place liao. If ok lah, better get a 2ft. Price diff is just around RM5.
I got a 4 ft toyogo box, use to house them also.
Later will post some pics of my 4ft toyogo (house 6 hamster in 3 slots, each slot got 2).
Purpose is to ease me during CNY break, no need to bring back 6 tanks back home town, haha.........Although its a bit cramp, but just one week, my hams will understand one.....

Hmmm.... the wetness is it around the tail? Also the head and front paws? Yah.... it could be wet tail if that is the case but then that is strange since I do that quite often to my hamsters and they do not get any sort of sickness like that from switching cages.... the hamsters are kept indoors?

4ft Toyogo box? Wah... need that LOL.... How much is it and where you got it?

haha, that time i bought it real cheap, carrefour offer. RM16......very nice offer.......But now no more liao. A 2ft toyogo also need RM15-20. Of course the depth of the toyogo is not as deep as the tank lah....but wat 2 do, cheaper mah............

this guy want popular or what....

btw just manage to sell two winter white last nite to good home...
i will miss them aaa...but better la now i got money to buy new tank huhuhu..

any 1 know how the see the sex for Roborovski Hamsters.

I confuse which 1 is the male and female.

Searching the internet on the sex, still unclear.

Need help friends.

I try this method but still can't define the hamster sex.

But tell the seller give me 1 male and 1 female. Do not he is honest on this sex.

My hamster look happy now and they like to the vegetable.

1 more thing, why my hamsters don't like to sit on top the wood shaving.

They will push off all wood to a side and sleep on the flat floor without the wood.

Do you experience this.

mayb there r hot gua.......and the base of ur cage is cooling??

My hamster very like to eat "kuaci"
2 of them always fight with the "kuaci"

ya ~ maybe flat floor is cool then wood shaving ~

didnt put any sweet thing also.. but i got 2hamster at the cage, but 1 died..

Why you want 1 male and 1 female? You know that when you buy from the same shop... you got high chance of buying brother and sister? Do you want brother and sister to mate and have babies? Do you care that the babies can be born with problems?

Also, hamsters can breed every 20 to 25 days.... and every litter got an average of 6 babies... are you ready to provide good homes or sell cheaply to petshop for the sake of space and get a quick buck? Petshops do not care, they won't mention to you about what would the outcome be if you buy a male and female.... it is such a risky thing to get from the same shop.

Also, if they breed, are you ready to see dead bodies? Coz sometimes the hamsters can kill and cannibalise their young....

Red ants are attracted to any left over food in the tank or cage.... when it sees that the food is not edible for ants, then they attack the next thing in the cage, the hamster. Red ants do not care the hamster alive or dead, to them, it is another mean of food. Never place cages on floors, best is on tables. If prone to ant attacks, get ant poison.

feed the kacang or fruit when u are here ~
before u gone then clean the box that u feed them "sweet" food ~
because hamster mix food normally would eat by red ants 1 ~

i change it every week.. wash it, and clean it every week.. i also put it on the table.. i dont know also why like this.. den now oni left 1 hamster.. haizz..

yea! i guess is the sweet things that make the red ants come.. but i stil dont understand, i feed them, the next day nth wrong.. den after that i clean the cage, the next morning i wake up, see red ants all over the cage.. so horrible..

Have you stepped on red ant nest before? I did.... and they bite.... you know why they bite? Coz I stepped on their nest, kacau them....

I am guessing your female kinda kacau the red ants when they entered the cage.... so when 1 red ant bites, another will bite... then chemical signals will tell all ants to bite. Your other hamster is safe due to maybe never interfere.
