I dont find it as kesian as what you mentioned... nowadays i lepak setia alam almost every weekend due to relationship commitment... SCM almost every weekend able to gather certain level of crowd... maybe your time of visit is one of the odd time of low peak.... for me... chinese eateries are plenty as well... and semenyih do have chinese eateries I like... chinese to chinese... setia alam one very common... nothing special... semenyih ones more to specialties cooking... anyhow... for own stay.... SEH can be consider... but for sure to take a long time for working adults to really move in to semenyih... just the same as setia alam... however... setia alam has PJ subang shah alam those matured working areas supporting them...

Now that setia taipan is targeting the malai market plus pkns heavy exposure there I wish setia alam luck unless EA comes in with a game changer. Look at what has pkns done to the strand mall and shops in KD CBD. It used to be very happening till pkns took over then tgif, oldtown etc all left. Even the strand residence had a delayed VP cuz of pkns.
