i manage to get mine at 930 am at CIMB bank, not much people actually.

I went to RHB bank, also a lot of people, but still less than 100. They divided between two lines, one for opening and one for topup. Need to take tickets also, yellow for opening and blue for topup. I think this is better, at least not everybody go there rebut-rebut. I can say 99% are chinese.

i managed to bank in 20K at 2pm today, so i think still available, those who haven't top up or open account, can try your luck tomorrow, the released fund is 1.6 bil, assuming all depositors comes with 10K in average, it will be enough to serve 160,000 people, so no harm trying. Good luck

I went to post office at 7.75am and got it done by 8.20am. 6th on the queue. On the other hand, my father went to maybank and queue from 8am till 12pm.

I managed my ASM account ... plenty of people in Maybank but I just left my form there for them to process... atleast they follow the ticket number

At my place I heard Post Office is the worse full of aunties with no number jumping to the counter.

But this time the Maybank I went they only do top up where the Bank Manager said "Mei you open account de ah this time", where all other place can open new account. That Manager is surely lazy and want stay away from headache...

But personally, I've never tried RHB and CIMB at my place.

I top up 15K today in banker cheque, they hold my bank book, If tomorrow i want to top up another 5k to make it max, can i just give them the account number only?

You mean topup at another bank ? I think you need your ASM passbook for topup, right ?

I first went to the newly opened RHB Islamic Bank in KWSP Building here in downtown Kota Kinabalu but was told they do not do ASNB transaction there. It was already 9.20am then. There is another two Maybank nearby. One Maybank Islamic branch just across the street and another Maybank in Maybank building, just one block away but both were already flooded with people. Decided to try my luck at another RHB Bank branch in Lintas, about 10 minutes away from downtown KK and i got number 49 when i got there. Was told they are giving out 50 numbers for those wish to top-up and another 50 numbers for those who want to open an ASM account. Well, at least still got number for me ...

Go back to the same branch and do ur top up cz they hold ur bank book.
