After we have the asm account book, do we need to fill in forms again or just bring the book&cash and queue up?

I managed to topup mine, transfer from bank book around 10.30 just now. Saw an auntie and an uncle both bring around 3-4 asm books. No need ic to topup?
One person can only hold 1 asm account, right?? This post has been edited by Savor_Savvy: Jul 21 2009, 12:50 PM |

QUOTE(lowyatben @ Jul 21 2009, 12:56 PM) As far as I know, top ups do not require ICs. However, I'm not sure if there are limits as to just how many books can one person top up, though. As per Savor_Savvy's experience this morning, I guess there isn't any restrictions. No restrictions. Guess they helped their relatives or children to top up. |

I went to RHB bank, also a lot of people, but still less than 100. They divided between two lines, one for opening and one for topup. Need to take tickets also, yellow for opening and blue for topup. I think this is better, at least not everybody go there rebut-rebut. I can say 99% are chinese.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jul 22 2009, 02:16 PM) In my case they did not push me into buying ASD. As a Sabahan Bumiputra with Chinese surname, we need to get a special letter from Jabatan Hal Ehwal Negeri to prove that we are legitimate Bumiputra. I am now currently waiting for a letter from them for ASW2020 to confirm that i'm a Bumiputra so i can buy the Bumiputra units Sabahan bumi with chinese surname?? Can u explain more? U join muslim? |

What to do? So sien to queue up, to rebut-rebut also must go due to safer return rates than stock market and better than FD..

MilesAndMore,
Hey, thanks for the infos. Really opened up my mind on the status, coz im not too sure bout that before. U did mention you have a chinese surname, meaning to say ur father is a chinese, right? But u also stated that your mum is a chinese? So actually both of your parents are sino-kadazan, but actually they are chinese? As long as they are born as a sino-kadazan (no matter both parents are chinese or indians) as long as they have the status, they're bumiputras, right? How bout if a sino-kadazan married a muslim, does the children considered sino-kadazan also or bumiputra muslim??? |
