I managed to topup mine, transfer from bank book around 10.30 just now. Saw an auntie and an uncle both bring around 3-4 asm books. No need ic to topup?

One person can only hold 1 asm account, right??

As far as I know, top ups do not require ICs. However, I'm not sure if there are limits as to just how many books can one person top up, though. As per Savor_Savvy's experience this morning, I guess there isn't any restrictions.

Anyone has any idea about this AS1M? It's like ASM/ASW or is it like sukuk where it is a bond?

No restrictions. Guess they helped their relatives or children to top up.

Top up is no restrictions of book holders, I ever saw an auntie top up few books since last time ASM & ASW2020.

Top up no need to bring IC but just to fill in holders IC number in the bank in slip. Open an account of course need your IC..

august.decision: Why need to cross our photocopy IC.? Abused matter.? And will they accept crossed photocopy IC.?

Today is a terrible and horrible day. Those aunties are very scary, and expert in jumping queue. Besides, even get the ticket number, they also dont follow rules, follow the number to make transaction.

They just wait in front the counter, and give their account book to the staff for topping up their units.

Besides, people with one ticket can top up so many books. wow, i'm gonna fainted when saw it. I managed to get number 34, but only done at 12pm.

Actually, there are three counters operating. But, the number only move on to the next number in one of the counter. The another two just serve those came late without ticket.
Really annoying.
I suspect the staffs have taken bribes.
Is it possible?

Bribes..? I don't think they dare.. But I'll guess it's business related, regular customer, friends & families and relative & cousin mosoun which they always likes to do that.

Very true. If a person who borrows millions of dollars from a bank requests the bank officer help to buy the ASM units, do you think the bank won't entertain? It makes business sense to help him. If he becomes happy, next time he will want to deal with the bank again, providing the bank the opportunity to earn interests from him again.

Best to buy from post office or PNB offices, less business oriented. However , you have to deal with those kiasu aunties...
