QUOTE(futobuta @ Apr 11 2015, 02:00 PM) Boss, once u're 'tied down', it is not easy to get 'permit' to return to Japan so often lah. Unless of course if your job requires you to do so. Wife bising lah... "Why want to return to the same country so often. Look for old gf is it?!" That Why I change another way round. GF was Japanese then you have to go back to Japan more often. Another benefit was when going Holiday, Japan can out from list. I can go China , Korea or Asean country. sick of Japan already

Hakone and Lake Kawaguchiko each have each highlight. Hakone got more thing to see and experience and lake kawaguchiko are more into relaxing. Hotel need figure your self.

I'll be staying at Koe House at Kawaguchi in November. Its just a few steps away from the station. The reviews I've read have been mostly good. Anyone else stayed there before? I heard one of the the front desk staff is from Malaysia.

Anyone rent global advanced comm pocket wifi in hokkaido before? The company say if go hokkaido / mountains, they recommend the premium or super premium models (ie more expensive). Wondering if anyone ever rented the base 75mbps or 21mbps models in hokkaido before and whether the coverage was OK enough.

Thanks for pointing it out. I tested again and ya the English version is really messed up. I guess its better to just go to the station and buy the ticket. I'll be going there on a weekday in November and I think tickets don't sell out fast around that time..
