Gekkeikan Okure Sake museum (no available tour slot so just walk in)

Nishiki market
Hang out at Kyoto station Isetan+Yodobashi camera+Ramen street
Tofukuji if time permits
Yamazaki distillery (tour booked)
Travel back Osaka sta. for dinner
Japan mint night opening (starting from 9th april)

Arashiyama Tenryuji + bamboo groove
Kiyomizudera @ 4pm
Stay for Kiyomizu night illumination
Walk thru Higashiyama district
Yasaka shrine Maruyama park night illumination (close at 9pm)

8th day
check out hotel
Nishiki market again
Visit Kamomioya and Shimogamo shrine
Possible Ginkakuji + Philosopher's park if time permits
Travel back to KL night flight

This one is really pack imo unless you plan to just look-see

kaiyukan as in the area or the aquarium?
If the aquarium, need at least 2.5 hours. USJ will take whole day cause of the massive lines, to better to put USJ in 1 day.

It's kaiyukan yes, and yes already allocate 3 hours for it, whereas usj allocated 7 hours for it. mainly target the Harry potter castle n look see, didn't buy express pass as we feel like we don't need to take a lot of the rides.

7 Hour not even can finsied 1/4 Harry Potter castle

But but... that means need 2 days to finish HP castle?? @_@;;

How eh...

Checked reviews no one mentioned this weh... mostly ppl go queue up for the other rides which is what took time. But we don't even plan to do so many rides. Dekirudake.

Plan b is to slot Osaka castle with kaiyukan n move some shopping plans from 2nd day to 4th day.

There is a ticket exclusively for Osaka castle n kaiyukan, can't remember what that is, need to check. Anyone knows off the top of your head?

Kyoto (staying here for the night)

Nara (Todaiji Temple and Nara Park)
Kyoto (staying here for the night)

3 - 4 Feb
Kyoto (Fushimi Inari, Kinkakuji, Ginkakuji, Kiyamizudera, Arashiyama, Gion)

5 - 7 Feb
Toyama
Takayama (would like to be there during the winter light up at Shirakawa - go. Not sure if it's going to be on Feb 6 or Feb 7)

8 - 11 Feb
Osaka

12 Feb
Back to KL from Osaka

Am still working on the many days in Osaka. Appreciate any advice if I am spending too much or too less on a certain location.
