Konnichiwa~
Going to Japan next month.
Could use some suggestion on the itinerary:

Day 1: Reach Tokyo at night
Day 2: Train to Yokohama day trip.
Day 3: Train to Kamakura & Enoshima day trip
Day 4: Nikko
Day 5: Nikko
Day 6: Disneyland
Day 7: Disneysea
Day 8: Tokyo
Day 9: Tokyo (Free & easy)
Day 10: Depart Tokyo

Wanted to travel to Osaka/Nagoya but seems like way too far from Tokyo.
No point going to Sapporo in May.

So we will be sticking around Tokyo only.

Arigato~
Domo arigato~

I like your plan. Your plan is current 2015 the best From my view.
But Day 4 or 5 reduce 1 day at Nikko put in Hakone will even best.

it very make sense. Haneda Airport just side from Yokohama. Yokohama going Kamakura & Enoshima also very closed. From Enoshima to Hakone can used Odakyu Hakone Pass. everything make sense and very very cheap.
Time used in travel minimum...enjoying city gain to maximum

Abeno Harukas 300
Osaka new landmarks. Japan tallest building. 300 Meters & 62 Floors.
Just next to Tennoji Station. The building so tall, no way you cannot find it.
Best selling point was department store and Kansai tallest observation floor.

sorry... your itinerary didnt have autumn feel...
totally wasted

I can oni gv example, after u understand wat u need and wat suit u...
come back again

my 2cents
1) hokkaido daylight time is until 4pm
by 5pm... it is like our 8pm in KL

2) U can goto furano for flower farm, there r not as many as summer flower
oni limited to autumn flower and fruit
furano oso have wine farm... so so only
actually whole Hokkaido hv tons of farm, u need to know which one to go
bonus: chances to view the "strawman", I forget where is this place thumbup.gif

3) MUST VISIT: Blue Pond and the dam next to it, near furano
this one trust me... very beautiful
alot of local japanese tourist come here wub.gif
> maximum autumn foliage feel at the pond and mountain next to the damn

4) MUST VISIT: Sounkyo,
> onsen
> take The Kurodake Ropeway (2times)
> bring ur winter gears and hike 1.5-3hours (depends on your fitness) to the top of the mountains
> might snow on top, and confirm got icing road
> very very beautiful at the top, bonus: can view autumn foliage at the neighbor mountain

>> out of town... i go hiking at the waterfall, when i go tat time... the yellow/red leaf is not tat beautiful
not really worth of it...

5) MUST VISIT: Jozankei
> go early morning... Jozankei dam have high chance to enjoy the snow smile.gif
> autumn foliage thumbup.gif

6) Noboribetsu
if u planned to visit all the blue/red demon... u need car
this place got alot of hidden gems
eg: sulfur lake (mini), easy hiking park... at one river u can enjoy wash ur leg with hotspring water
outside of noboribetsu, got infamous penguin walk... (i didnt go in, oni outside see2... rushing tat time)

7) Lake Toya
the firework is ignite from the boat, so guarantee u will disappointed
nothing much todo here except cruising during day time...
but the town is very peaceful, and relaxing... ohh onsen too
ohh restaurant start at 8pm... i bet u hv hard time finding it

8) Sapporo
> recommend u skip the beer musuem
> straight go to Sapporo Beer Factory, required car
once u reach there, u need to register ur name and wait for the bus
after finish the tour, FREE BEER tasting and time to get all "sapporo beer" souvenir
> Sapporo have a lot of famous ramen, and there is one special ramen street... visit tat one

9) Otaru
> ur otaru seem perfect, but here u might wan to try their King Crab and ice cream oso
and there is few bakery+chocolate rival shop, i love all of them!!!~
recommend u try all of them... yummy level... 5stars
> otaru canal... nothing to watch during daytime

10) other than tat, u might interested in Asahiyama Zoo
unique in his own way, google it@@

11) I rent car all the time during my time in hokkaido, i felt totally worth of it
except parking at Otaru and Sapporo... their parking is super duper expensive
and overnite parking i have to wait until midnite to park... after tat 7am i hv to checkout

Bonus
-------
Outside of Chitose Airport, got 2premium outlets... save 8%GST brows.gif
i survey, the price is cheaper than malaysia... u can get ur winter wear there
but stuff like The North Face, Couch, Timberland... u better buy in Premium Outlet @USA
RM100 vs RM500...
yes this is called smart shopping whistling.gif

Those Translation License are for those country that not recognize by Japan. Malaysia are one of the recognize country during 1949 Geneva Convention.

So Malaysian just need International Driving Licence + Passport + Malaysia Driving License

No.
Translation license just a paper not like little booklet.
Our international Driving license are little booklet. which is set by Geneva Convention 1949. All country in that convention using same booklet.

I got the international Driving License too. It was a Booklet type.

For those Country such as taiwan. They are not in Geneva Convention but reconize by Japan goverment. So Taiwanese driving in Japan can used translation license.
