better beware on doing this since some member already reported doing transaction even after 12 still consider a transaction for the day before.
better just set when the payment need to be activate, e.g: set it for 14 or 15 for this weekend.

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 13 2015, 05:38 PM)
1) if open another account need to pay another rm8 (or rm12) and get another debit card which will seldom be used?
2) then need to close the existing account, so need to pay another rm5 (or rm10) closing fee?
3) if don't want to pay the closing account fee and choose to let the existing account become dormant, but the money also can't be withdrawn out entirely and need to maintain rm10 inside?

if can convert good la...

I think M2U Saver-i better than M2U Saver, any balance will get 2% interest. Right?

open the m2u-i, less than 2k oso got interest albeit lesser

i want to convert my account to this, possible?
*
no need convert, just open and tag to existing atm/debit card
leave RM1 at the old account, transfer 1 cent each year between the 2 accounts to avoid inactive

1. this is purely online account. no extra fees. can be tag to existing atm/debit card
2. i thought closing fees only applicable if you close within 6 months? after that period, no closing fees.

i see... if tag to existing debit card then need to untag the existing account first? or can have 2 accounts linked to one debit card?

i think all banks also will impose closing fee if you want to close accounts. i used to have savings account with bsn, affin bank, bank muamalat, bank islam, and cimb. all i left them dormant (maximising by withdrew all and left around rm1-rm5) because i don't want to pay the closing fee. lol...

no need keep 2 accounts gua? no benefits also? tongue.gif

yes, my maybank cherry debit card has 4 accounts in it currently (used to have 5, but cancelled one account dy)
i normally keep 2 savings accounts for each of my online banking - so I can transfer out/in every yr to avoid inactive (now since ibg is 10 cents, not a big deal anymore)

From March 1st 2015, 400 TP = RM1.00?? Where to read about this new change?

I checked the redemption catalogue.

Now 26500 TP = RM100 Mc D voucher.
You mean next month it will need 40000 TP? That is a very big increase.

If 400 TP : rm1
This card no longer is the 'best' cc in msia
Only 5% weekend rebate

Any other alternative cc?
I think its time to cut liao

But OCBC 1% is instant cashback (same statement month) without needing you to change to vouchers.

Question on the Eligibility section in the M2C Cash Back campaign.

QUOTE
ELIGIBILITY

  1. This Campaign is open to all “New-to-Bank” or New Principal who apply for Maybank 2 Gold or Platinum Cards which approved and activated within 60 days.

  2. “New-to-Bank” Principal Cardmembers herein refer to : a) Not existing Principal Maybank Card or American Express® Cardmember b) Maybank or American Express Card cancelled more than six (6) months

  3. New Principle Cardmembers herein refer to:
    a) Existing Maybank Principal Cardmember who wish to apply for Maybank 2 Gold or Platinum Cards

My interpretation of the 3rd clause, is that if I am currently a Visa Classic holder (and have an existing savings a/c with Maybank), I am eligible to participate if I apply for the Maybank2Cards. Is this correct or wrong?

The staff at the Maybank Card Center at MidValley said that the campaign is only those who never have account with Maybank prior to getting the cards. rclxub.gif
