how to used the cash rebate?

It will be automatically credited to your Amex Card in the following month. In other words, it is used automatically to pay your spendings.

Because this card is one of the best cards in the market. brows.gif

Got it. I'm just afraid that my payments via online will be denied if the expiry date is approaching.
Also, will the credit card numbers be changed as well? Then, my PayPal, Google Play, Apps Store, Uber and other payment that tied to the previous credit card needs to be updated again... sad.gif
*
The credit card number should be the same if it is auto-renewed by the bank. At least that's my experience from other bank's credit cards.

if RM50 tax has been waived, will we be charged 6% GST on amount swipe each time we use the card? Since technically it's a service provided by the bank, end up if you swipe a lot won't be the 6% much more than the RM50 itself?
*
The 6% GST will be charged on the annual fee instead of every transaction.

Yeah 6% on annual fee and those merchant will include the 6% for whatever we spend.

double whammy.
*
The 6% is charged for the merchant service/product, not for using the credit card itself as stated by midnight plue.

annual fee? mbb2 cards don't have annual fee, so that's not included, unless t&c changed la.
merchant all will jack up price and include the 6% in their product sold/ service provided, it's happening now already >.<
yup, any ideas if using the credit card itself got 6% charge per swipe? cuz what i know even IBG transfer 0.10cent will also incur 6% GST sweat.gif
*
Yes mbb2 don't have annual fee now. If they decided to add annual fee, i think it will only affect new comers (since t&c was no annual fee for life).

If got 6% extra charge per swipe for using credit card, no one will use credit card anymore.

i have a question, my statement balance is 3k, my outstanding balance is 1k. so overall i still owe bank 1k right? using maybank2u app and i saw 2 choices to pay there, why if statement balance is 3k and still payable if its just previous statement balance?
*
Yes you owe the bank 1k. The statement balance and pay option will always be there (until new statement), just ignore it if you already made full payment.

I just redeemed, here's a feedback from Sabah, so other branches' (your) experience may differ:

You would have to purchase the item, RM50 will deducted from the item purchased, no gift-card that last for 1 year.
6250 points charged (equals to RM25), A gift-card was utilised for a value of RM25, which would be recorded/acknowledge by the system in 24 hours.... no gift-card was retained by me...
*
Meaning we must purchase something and cannot redeem the gift card only?
