r9 280x users. Do guys have problem with artifacts or flickering issues or is that only a minor 1% who has that problem?

I'm looking to get either the 7950 vs R9 280x both are great cards (2nd hand) minimum 2years warranty.

the 7950 is 50ringgit cheaper than the 280x . for 50 ringgit more, for 280x there is at least a 10-15fps upgrade from the 7950.

Just wanna get some opinions from the users themselves before making my purchase.

Don't wna go through the hassle of having to RMA the cards once purchased.

you should get some kind of personal warranty for those problem and return the card if it happen. earlier version of asus 280x was known to have that kind of problem but they already fixed it

another thing is I found the back of my card produce quiet a lot heat also ! backplate can absorb heat ? if I get 1 backplate ?

I don't think backplate will help with the heat that much. People install backplate for the look and to make the card more sturdy.

i dunno about you... but my backplate on my Vapor X help improve stability gpu in my case... and like AMD Radeon Sticker on my case i think is magically enchanted my Rig to be a lil bit faster.. hey.. how you explain this... 3Dmark score..

Yeah it's crazy rm780 found at mudah, it's brand new I dunno what's the catch. Tested the card few days no issues.

the catch is only 1 year warranty as told by the seller

for a new R9 290 at this price it's a good buy at least in my opinion

rm780 for me no complain as still have 1 yr warranty left !! mine running nicely at 1.1ghz 6ghz mem !! jz the fan abit noisy thou
