I gave my hometown address and didn't accept initially but I told them that's my permanent address and I have no other address. They accepted eventually.

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Dec 12 2017, 08:56 PM) hmm, did you give any reason why u cannot give them ur current address? or did they query? I said I rented a room here and I'm not comfortable to share and my own house is not ready yet. She said I might get rejected but my card was approved.

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Dec 15 2017, 11:29 AM) managed to go through the application this time. how long before they will email us to upload the documents ya? One officer should call you soon and mine was checked by this officer for system approval. Once it is approved, then system will trigger me to upload documents.

QUOTE(basSist @ Dec 15 2017, 08:22 PM) did the sms mention when will the cash advanced be credited? tq. Based on my own experience, it took around or less than 3 days to credit after my card was approved. I got the money credited even before I got the card.

QUOTE(cloverl3af @ Dec 18 2017, 10:47 AM) Hi, how did you know of the approved amount? Did they mention it in a follow-up email? Thanks. The SMS will mention if I can remember correctly. Else just calculate yourself, it is exactly 60% of your approved limit.

QUOTE(fly126 @ Jan 18 2018, 10:29 AM) U need to hold your card for 6 months after that with submitting the lastest Income doc. Baru can request Increase CL n Card Convert. Becos of Hsbc VS min. CL is more 10K, so got have higher CL 1st baru boleh covert... Noted. They gave me very low limit which was not even one month of my salary... So, I stay for 6 months and submit income documents to convert card or I still have to die die increase CL first before converting? I cannot do anything now because I still have the cash installation plan, I'm not even sure if I can pay off everything earlier and convert it.

QUOTE(cardiac @ Mar 7 2018, 09:22 AM) Hi all, iam now facing an issue rejection due to unable to confirm employment. My company doesnt accept call to check for employment and informed HSBC CS , already submitted an official letter of employment when did appeal - gotten rejected second time due to same reason, unable to contact employer for confirmation. Anyone managed to get approved without HSBC calling employment and how you did it ? I think they will pick up randomly and call as they didn't call my employer. I'm from HR and usually will be picked up by my team, they didn't mention about HSBC calling. Yes, we cannot confirm over the phone too to avoid fraud cases, so we will ask banks to send via email. Long story short, I got approved without employment verification.

I got SMS from HSBC. Min spending of RM 800 and can get up to RM 160 cash back. I followed the link and it goes to this page: https://sp.hsbc.com.my/160/amanah?WABFormEn...C::1803:009:160I wonder how it works. Does anybody know? Spend RM 800 and get RM 50 cash back is quite a good deal.

QUOTE(lwc629 @ Mar 16 2018, 04:24 PM) It's stated clearly in the T&C. Check it out at the bottom of the page. CB is on a first come first serve basis. Oh yeah. I missed out there is a link in the footnote. https://sp.hsbc.com.my/microsites/low_spend...ion_(Final).pdfRM 800-RM 999.99 - RM 50, then might as well spend RM 800 will do. Same goes to RM 1k and above for RM 80, will spend RM 1k only. Too bad I just charged one purchase yesterday.
