if u even know how to tune a ukulele, and if u know guitar, u can already tell the tuning is the same notes as whats on the 5th fret on the guitar same string.
obviously ignoring the non-existent 5th and 6th strings on ukulele...
so basically whatever ukulele chord u want, just transpose a 5th up and play the guitar chord of the note u get.
so if u need a G chord on ukulele...5th is the D...so play the D shape...of cos there are other D shapes u can play all over the neck.
this is all very basic music theory.
so on ukulele, G = 0232
or eg C up a 5th = G = 0003, and D up a 5th = A = 2220.
Ah!... learn something new again.....
Guys please bear with me

just started playing guitar using tabs only. So asking question which may sound funny to the experts here

Thank you for taking time to explain the above, but right now, it sound too technical for me. Since you say this are
very basic music theory, I better start reading about it. Would you recommend any website where I can read/learn about music theory without having to attend classes.
I guess, I'll stick with the 6 string until understand more about music theory, before exploring ukulele
