Thanks for the info.
But I think this not worth it to join this promo...........
*
Oh.. doh.gif I saw it wrongly, I thought it was RM 100K...

So, if only for RM 10K, it is worth it to to place RM 10K to get the Huawei tablet..

But one bad news...I just called to Ringgit Plus, they said this gift promo is only for
customers are are totally new to UOB.

I asked Ringgit Plus about this, they said old customers can place the FD, but old customers will not entitle
to get the gift. These gifts are for customers who have never been opened any accounts in UOB..

Ah Sir, unfortunately.. Ringgit Plus said this cannot be done like this, close account also no use.
Only new customers can participate to entitle for the gift.. sad.gif

Dear Sifu,

Recently I just found out that for Semi flexi home loan, if we deposit money into the account, it helps to reduce the interest (semi flexi calculate the interest monthly if not mistaken) and hence we can clear our debt in shorter time. Now my question,

1. Would it better to keep our money in our semi flexi account rather than FD because the return is higher than fixed deposit? Example:-

Loan = 175000k
Interest = 4.45%
Tenure = 30 years.

If we put in 10k in the account, we can save/earn the interest of RM37.1 every month.

My understanding could be wrong. Please advise.

yes, put in yr loan account to save some interest.. as
BORROW MONEY = Money working against U.
SAVED MONEY = Money working for you.
