in term or price http-tunnel is cheaper than relakks
for relakks u can use either l2tp or pptp connection
relakks connection can consider not that stable. sometime it will disconnect it self
maybe those using http-tunnel can give pro and con

If you plane to use Http-Tunnel for BT, the version 4.4 is the best. But this version does crashes. It usually crashes after 2 or 3 days of continues uses for me. No biggy I just restart the client then everyhting is fine.

Http-Tunnel doens't suppot UDP (yet). The DL speed of your torrent file depend of which server you connect to. They have 6 and you can't choose which one to connect to. If manage to connect to one that best for that perticular torrent file then you can get constant max speed till that file is done. If not at most you get is 60% of your max speed.

On average I manage to get 45% to 55% with speed spike up to 90+%. But still much better then <5kbs. sweat.gif

how is yr bt client setup
is it the same using relakks
from my understanding,
using http-tunnel, yr bt client need to used proxy setting 127.0.0.0:1080
am i correct?
but if using relakks no need to setup anything
just using yr current setting

Anyone tried your-freedom.net yet? Relakks seems to be slower and more frequent crashes nowadays.

yup. proxy set to 127.0.0.1:1080 and nothing else. I'm using utorrrent with it and it work with other BT client as well. But for me, BitComet didn't work so well. Is still better then without http-tunnel but not as good as utorrent.

well, my original speed for downloading is around 20-50kb/sec
after they're trying throttle bt, what i get is 0-9kb/sec, and that's so slow until i want explode my brain out from my head.
saying that "we should pay for what we have downloaded"
well, another way to say (for me), "we should get what we have paid for the service. " those who use RM66 packages dont do torrent, but they scare of slow speed cos of us (RM88 users) get more bandwith from downloading BT. This is real strange and nonsense reason. If those RM66 packages could pay more for fast browsing then get RM88 packages then. Why must us RM88 package users suffers?

What your company do with their ADSL leh?Your boss download P2P stuffs all day long kah?I see no reason for regular websurfing and http transfers to be affected.

People are complaining because they can't get their P2P to download porn at home like they use to before the P2P throttling started. So what's wrong with your company's line?I see no reason for any slow web browsing at the moment.

It actually depends on ur torrent file, the max speed I got was 30Kbps on a 1Mbps line..dry.gif If this continues, I would have no other choice but to go all "V For Vendetta" on TMNet ph34r.gif and hold everyone in their HQ hostage bruce.gif You know the scene in Vendetta...release our line, or else flex.gif

Ha.. rclxms.gif If you can do that I think it be easier if you just re-write the shaping code on their throlling system. Re-write it to target tmnet's management personal only. nod.gif then we can all go have nice cheers.gif and see how they like their own medicine. tongue.gif

LoL @ V For Vendetta idea! You know by that time I finished watching the movie, couldn't help to start imagining if that happens in our country. But that's off-topic though.

Now I've discovered something, did you guys notice that the video streaming loading speed at youtube or metacafe is very slow? Is it me only, or it's part of the throttling? Please give me some feedback.

I'm in the middle of testing out TOR network, hopefully this can at least help my web browsing speed.
