omikron could u perhaps state down the steps u did with utorrent and http-tunnel.. im getting stuck here dono wat to do

First of all I'm using the paid version, free one sucks.
Downlaod the Http-tunnel, run it, key in the key that they mail you, then run speed test 1st. You should run speed test 1st to see if you are connect properly. You should get something like this. Attached Image The number on high band are never correct for me. I can get up 90% of my speed even when the test says the max speed is <10kB/s.

Http-Tunnel must be running 1st b4 you run utorrent. The setup I did on utorrent was only add proxy and port. See Attached Image Socket 4 or 5 it doesn't matter now, since it has no UDP surport yet. I'm using socket 5 btw. Max 50 connection per torrrent.

For other bt client you might want to visit this place

Strange rclxub.gif My usually above 20k sweat.gif I get 5-10k from a single US seeders. Check you http-tunnel log and diagnostic tab. Are you have a lot refuse connection in the log? How many active downstream do you have? I usually have about 25 active down and 30+ queues.

It encrypt anything goes thru it. I only use it for BT but it can be use for web surfing and on-line game (bad idea) too. You have to set the proxy for your IE (or firefox, etc) first. smile.gif

For those of you who are using Relakks this might be good read and the reason why they were crappy not so long ago.

QUOTE(GHack.net)
Relakks had a few problems shortly after their start due to the amount of users that registered the service right after it was introduced.

Thsi one is cool too smile.gif

I notice the fast torrent you have going is primarily made up of people using the utorrent client. Taking a look at the flags (DE/D IE) , all of them are running encryption (I wish i was connected to more utorrent seeders like that hehe). In the other pic, you are indeed connected to only a few of the seeds who aren't running any encryption (flags are D I, though there was one with an E that you were connected with). Not sure though, I see other ip's with encryption on but no speed. I'm curious, are these two torrents from the same tracker? Can you give me a pm of the address of the tracker if possible? That speed is pretty darned good for the 1mb package, I think you've been upgraded to 1.5m. In any case, when you paused the first torrent, it probably still had open connections (the previous connections were not dropped, but weren't transferring any data, because you may have already reached the limit of global maximum connections) that's why the other torrent did not increase in speed (I may be wrong though).

PS - if anyone was curious what the flags mean in utorrent, here they are:

What do all those flags in the Flags column mean?

* D = Currently downloading (interested and not choked)
* d = Your client wants to download, but peer doesn't want to send (interested and choked)
* U = Currently uploading (interested and not choked)
* u = Peer wants your client to upload, but your client doesn't want to (interested and choked)
* O = Optimistic unchoke
* S = Peer is snubbed
* I = Peer is an incoming connection
* K = Peer is unchoking your client, but your client is not interested
* ? = Your client unchoked the peer but the peer is not interested
* X = Peer was included in peerlists obtained through Peer Exchange (PEX)
* H = Peer was obtained through DHT.
* E = Peer is using Protocol Encryption (all traffic)
* e = Peer is using Protocol Encryption (handshake)

International peers are going through my connection, though VERY few in number. Same case as Axis, once in a while i got a task that somehow is bursting with international speed, and the other task is throttled like hell.

I had once added a Japanese game that has 120+kb/s download stream from only 3 Japanese peers, in fact one of them is uploading to me at 90+kbs >_<.

That happens, though very rare.

Maybe TM is not throttling 3 or 5 connections to overseas, and then rest of the international connection got throttled like hell. Just my speculation.

EDIT -

I had HTTP-Tunnel setup for my Guildwars game.

Is it suposed to be that slow (Free Server Mode)

I can barely get 2kb/s out of the game >_<

I emailed streamyx this is what i got

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail to TMNet. Firstly, we would like to apologise for the late reply. Referring to your e-mail, we would like to advise you to proceed with some basic troubleshooting, in order for us to streamline the issue that you are facing currently.

1) Bypass splitter/ micro filter/ fax machine/ lightning protector.

2) Stand alone connection, from wall socket to modem (No parallel line).

3) Flush DNS
a) For Win 98/ME:-
- Click Start button, go to run.
- Type "winipcfg" and then click OK.
- Select your network card name from the adapter drop-down menu
- Click on Release button
- The IP address should display 0.0.0.0. Then click Renew All
- Click OK to close the window.

b) For Win XP/2000
- Click on Start button, go to run
- Type "command", click OK
- Type in "ipconfig /flushdns", then press Enter.
- Make sure the result is "Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver
cache".

4) Switch off the modem, unplug/ re-plug all cables, wait for 5 to 10 minutes before switching on the modem

5) Create new dialer and configure DNS - (Preferred DNS Server: 202.188.0.133 /Alternate DNS Server: 202.188.1.5).

6) Reboot computer and the modem.

7) Do a bandwidth test from our website as follows :(http://202.188.95.52:8080/speedometer/)However, if the result is below 70% of the required speed, please reply us by attaching the result in kbits.

Alternatively, you can contact our Technical Department at 1-300-88-9515 (select option 3 for Technical Assistance) if you need further assistance on the troubleshooting above and if the problem still persists, please provide us the following details for further action.

Now, i did this my connection has be stable at 29.8KB/S so i really hope this helps you guys out

Have been using paid version of Http Tunnel and the speed is sux, talk about paying it to use the service, hardly go thru 10KB/s, some more only manage to get connected 20-30 peers among 2k peers available of the torrent file. Eventually I gave up and use free Korea's sock instead, and guess what the Korea's sock can give me 50KB/s connection speed(sometime can reach 100+KB/s but not constant) along with more peers connection also. Feeling like kena tipu.

Anyway has anyone tried with the Gamemode on the Http Tunnel, such as game like WOW? I don't play WOW but just wondering, if it can lower the ping in WOW then might worth to use it.
